I've done my research. I bought this one. Not a flimsy tarp. It has a fiberglass layer inside. Lays flat, looks great.

Not a griller but...
Actually bought this to put in front of my puppy's crate and under his food and water to protect the carpet. Bunches up when he plays on it, but otherwise works really well. No idea how it works under a grill though.
