ViewSonic CDE4312 43" 4K UHD Commercial Display with VESP, Wireless Screen Sharing, USB Wi-Fi Capabilities, RJ45, HDMI, USB C

Did some research and landed on a commercial display to use on my deck. It’s brighter than a lot of TVs at this price point and the rear side of this thing is far more weather resistant than an entry level TV. Very happy so far! Super easy to setup and works perfectly with a google TV remote.

This is not an intuitive setup. There's no easy plug and play from a USB device. Setup for the casting methods required account setups on clunky websites. When using the browser feature, the resolution is off and the settings available on the display are different than what the manual says should be showing. The Viewsonic support website does not have reachable staff. Giving two stars because what I need displayed at our business is technically up on the screen at the moment, just not at the correct resolution. I would have expected it to be a struggle if we had skimped out on a signage display, but at $439 I expected better.

Spent hours at a customers restaurant yesterday troubleshooting this model number.CEC was a nightmare with these. They respond to CEC commands even when CEC is turned off, some sets wouldn't turn on with ON commands but would turn back on with a standby command. I factory reset 38 tvs yesterday and got 34 of them mostly responding properly. 34/38 is a horrible ratio when you need 80 tvs to turn on and off together.I have no faith that these are going to continue to work.While troubleshooting these tvs I had to manually reset the power at least a dozen times due to them entering a non responsive state where they wouldn't turn on with CEC or IR.The manager said switching from Samsungs to these has been nothing but problems.I have been working with restaurants with 50+ tvs in each building for over 5 years. I have never had the amount of problems these viewsonics gave me.
