10 Minutes a Day Phonics for Ages 5-7 (with over 100 stickers) (CGP KS1 Activity Books and Cards)

This is a very useful book for any children who need that extra bit of support grasping phase 5 of the phonics scheme. It's child friendly with colour pictures and lots of stickers. The activities are short and varied to keep the child interested. This will definitely help with your child's reading and writing. I teach this level of phonics as part of job and found the children love doing the activities. Some children eagerly go through them others may need some support in knowing what they need to do.

My kid loves doing phonics at school and really enjoys this activity book. It’s challenging enough in places for him to think, but so far at the right level at 5 years old to know the answers with some thought. He has struggled putting some of his letters in the box where it’s a couple in a smaller space, but it’s good practice for him to get the size down ahead of school next year. We’re rotating through various versions of these books 3x a week through the summer holidays and think we can probably keep them to carry on next year, so should then tie up with difficulty levels as he works through them. The reward stickers are a good motivator too.

This CGP 10-minutes a day Phonics is a great practice book to work alongside what has been taught at school. It is a great idea for young children to enhance their learning during school holidays. Parent can help their children working through one page a day, which takes about 10 minutes. We are doing one page in the morning and one page in the afternoon so the book can be finished in this summer holiday. The images in the book are colorful and interesting. Instructions are easy and clear to understand. The reward Stickers encourage the children to do this work. Upon finishing this book, the children will achieve a better understanding of phonics.

Great book, perfect for practising phonics. The stickers makes it more fun and interesting.My daughter likes this book, and it kept her busy.This book has has 64 pages.

My son actually enjoyed doing it and found it rewarding, it's a good bonding task aswel. Really recommend these

CGP books are always well-designed and reliably linked to school curricula. This is no exception. It is reasonably engaging and laid out clearly. Our son enjoyed working on the bite-sized activities.

We gave this trial workbook a go as CGP resources are always so reliable.- ideal in the obvious ways...- independent expected or greater depth pupils can just get on- working towards can work through with support as an intervention- short and sharp tasks- good variety of activities- child friendly, not overwhelming- well set out- good for school, own home learning or home schoolingJust another really good CGP workbook. Glad we gave it a trial.

This is a another good exercise book. Just aiming for a few minutes practise with the promise of getting a reward star seems to have done the trick.I really like this book it has brightly coloured, interesting pages with simple to follow instructions and would definitely recommend to others.5 out of 5 stars.
