Disclaimer - I have not been paid nor have been asked by Datazone or any other party for this review and this is soley based on my own experience.I have been using Datazone for their CAT6 and CAT6a networking cable drums for a number of years now mostly for my own purpose (adding CAT6 and a gigabyte network throughout the house) but also due to my own work , success this led to friends, family and small home run businesses asking for me to design, develop and implement fast and affordable network solutions for their own enviroments and I use Datazone cables for these following purposes;1. Voice Over IP (VOIP)2. Power Over Ethernet (POE)3. Gigabyte networking4. Multimedia (1080P/4K High Resolution videos and high quality RAW music formats)5. CCTV Security IP CamerasPlease see attached photo of a typical setup I do for those like me who want to convert their homes to have fast gigabyte throughout. I also install WIFI so portable devices and areas without cable get the very best wireless speeds without impacting fixed line connections.I have read a few reviews stating they had some run's containing twisted and broken cable. I admit , i had 1 drum that had a kink in the middle of the drum. However, as with most things in life sometimes you do get a defect but in all the drums i've purchased that was my only experience and i have purchased from others where the quality did not meet up to the same standards.it's important that when looking to buy network cable you work out how long the run will be and where it will be put. Reading reviews , people purchased solid core but then complain it broke or was very stiff when bending round corners.for running straight long runs where the cable is behind walls, under floors and in ceilings and wont be touched or expected to be bent round tight corners , then you want the very best Sold Core , high sheilded CAT6A.For cables that need to be more flexible and have short runs, such as between a wall socket and Computer or a patch pannel then a stranded CAT6 is ideal.My Verdict for Datazone's cable's 5 stars out of 5 , a RJWaring Gold badge award!Both stranded and solid core drums offer high quality at a reasonable price and the overall success rate in my experience is higher than alternatves out there. Hopefully the sound will be great, however, we had to cut a chunk out of the middle of the reel because it had frayed and sure enough the wires had broken! We were glad not to have put the ceiling back before we had discovered that some of the reel was faulty.

Seems to have had some serious looking kinks when the drum was rolled. I needed to use 25m lengths and these kinks seem to crop up in the middle of the lengths. I first thought it was a join or two, but now not sure. I would not buy this ever again and wish I had shelled out for much higher quality. I have the cable in situ throughout the house and will now need to test it with crossed fingers and wonder if I will ever be able to trust my home LAN.

Have only used for one connection so far, but its decent quality and the casing seems more sturdy and therefore less prone to kinks than the grey cabling Id previously installed.
