Love the convenience of extra large size. Great for stuffing artichokes and then some! Haven’t noticed any change in these crumbs!

These are hands down the best breadcrumbs to use for Italian-style chicken cutlets and meatballs—just like my mom used to make when I was growing up in New York. This was a staple in our household. We never used flour when frying cutlets or making meatballs, which is why our dishes always came out crispier and more flavorful. The seasoned breadcrumb alone did all the work. The parmesan cheese infused into these breadcrumbs adds a depth of flavor that instantly brings me back—pure nostalgia in the best way. Despite not having the word “Italian” in the name, these taste far more authentic than many brands that advertise “Italian-style” or “Italian flavor.” They don’t need the label—the ingredients and quality speak for themselves. Now living on the West Coast in sunny San Diego, I’ve found it surprisingly hard to get certain East Coast kitchen staples, and nothing I’ve tried locally comes close. Everything else feels like it’s trying to replicate this quality and just falls short. Since I can’t find this brand in grocery stores here in California, I’ll gladly keep ordering it through Amazon. If you’re looking for true, old-school Italian-style breadcrumbs that deliver on flavor and texture, this is it.

I have tried so many breadcrumbs and these by far make by food the best tasting! I do care about ingredients and they’re probably not the best so I’m sure better options in terms of ingredients but when I’m cooking for people for taste like my chicken cutlets or toppings on casseroles, stuffed clams etc, this is my go to!
