Totally waterproof, comfortable enough for a round.
We start our round at the break of dawn every day. The entire course is invariably very wet every single day - due to either rain or heavy dew. Tried many other brands of shoes, but they ALL start to leak after a few weeks, leaving the socks soaking wet and the feet cold and uncomfortable. All I needed was a waterproof shoe. These Dawgs are made of rubber, with molded joints, so they do the job to perfection. My socks are always 100% dry. The spikes are also fixed, not screwed on, so no chance of leakage there either. The size is a bit smaller than standard. I usually take 7-1/2 with thick socks; bought these in 8 and can only wear them with thin socks. Being made of rubber, they tend to pull in your socks if you walk the course. Which means I have to keep pulling them up every couple of holes. But these are small inconveniences. Also, they are not as comfortable as shoes made of leather or mesh, but one can easily walk 18 holes in them. The (fixed) spikes don't wear out as quickly as most other rubber spikes. All in all, a great shoe for the amateur golfer who walks his rounds on a very wet course.

Easy on the wallet, Hard on the foot
Golf shoes tend to be expensive and since I'm just getting back into the game after ten years, I didn't want to spend a lot. The DAWG's are really affordable. I used them last weekend and I needed to use a shoe-horn to get them on. They were very narrow and at first uncomfortable, but after a while they began to loosen up. The length of the shoe was fine so I don't think ordering a size up would've helped. One benefit is that these shoes are like Crocs. We played in the rain last weekend and my feet stayed dry. I've been stretching them out this week by stuffing them with newspaper and heating with a hairdryer. This method works on leather shoes so maybe it'll help these. I'll try them a few more times and hopefully they'll become more comfortable. I don't think I'd buy another pair, but they are good enough for the price.

Superlite golf shoes
These are the most comfortable and lightest golf shoes I've ever worn. I have a neuropathy which makes walking painful for me. By putting a comfort insert into these shoes, I created the best fully cleated shoe I've tried. The only rival is the non cleated True Links shoe worn by Ryan Moore. I have these, but they cost $159. The Dawgs are fully waterproof. The lack a little lateral stability, but that helps me by centering my balance as one should. I've bought 3 pair now, including a non cleated version for everyday wear. They are true to size and a great value at $35-45. Will update with a longetivity report in the future.

Dawgs shoes - good buy.
Shoes really look good. I wear size 11-11.5 but ORDERED a size 12 (BETTER TO ORDER LARGER since I think the sizes run just a little small)The strap in the front does allow for tightening the shoe for various sizes/widths. Only wore them for one round of golf but they fit GOOD - expecting them to stretch out a little after they get broken in. GREAT SHOE FOR THE PRICE - so far!!!!Adding this note on Aug 8 ---- loved the shoes, fit a little tight at first but now fit good BUT ----- shoes split right at the bottom of the tongue.SHOES SHOULD HAVE LASTED MORE THAN 3 MONTHS???????? NOW WHAT??????

Inexpensive, awesome!
I bought these for two reasons:1. I wear a size 172. I didn't want to spend $150+ on a pair of traditional golf shoesI wore them for the first time a couple of days ago and WOW! They are super comfortable and waterproof. The course was very sloppy from quite a bit of rain, and after 18 holes my socks were completely dry. On the other hand , my buddy's shoes were full of mud, and he had wet, cold feet. He was really envying my shoes about halfway through the round. The best part was how easy they are to clean. I was a little concerned about the "look" of these, but they are not too bad once you get used to them. Plus they were very inexpensive, best $25 I ever spent!

too loose
They are indeed comfortable, but the shoes cannot be tightened well with just the straps. These shoes also do not feel well planted and seem to have too few spikes which do not grip all that well. Very disappointed given their cost. These are made out of "Croc" like material and should be $30 tops!

Fun and functional
I know I have larger. wider feet but these things are way snug. Have to wear w/o socks. Though for golf, I typically wear them as outdoor work/yard shoes ,esp. if it's raining or I'ma be in wet conditions. Thick rubber, versatile use and cute enough looking but not for the golf club. I have used them on the range only as the support is minimal, so couldn't see playing a full round in them.

Just got them a couple days ago and haven't worn them other than to try them on. The fit seems fine. They're anything but fashionable but I play at the crack of dawn and the grass is always wet and I'm tired of having to wring out my socks. I'm not able to play for a couple weeks so I won't wear them for awhile but every review I read said they are waterproof and, from the construction, I think that's going to make them a very good buy.I wore them for the first time today and played 9 holes. The fit is actually a little large andI wore a blister on one heel. I made the mistake of wearing low cut socks which were pretty thin and that definitely contributed to the blister. The great news is, it rained 1 1/2" last night and my feet were totally dry when I finished. I'm not going to change the 5 stars since I was dumb with the socks but I must say this is the first time that's happened in many, many pairs of shoes. I do wish they'd had the black ones although they wiped clean very well.
