The "clear" winner in binocular tripod adapters!
The FANAUE Binocular Tripod Adapter is an absolute game-changer for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors and appreciates the finer details of nature. As an avid birdwatcher and wildlife enthusiast and optics nerd this nifty little accessory has revolutionized my viewing experience, elevating it to new heights. At the time of purchase on July 29 2023, I paid $21.99 for this adapter. In my review photos you will see compatibility and fitment on my Vortex 12x50 Diamondback HD binoculars (no issues, works great).Design and Compatibility:The FANAUE Binocular Tripod Adapter boasts a smart and innovative design that exudes quality. The feel in hand and machining quality is very impressive considering the cost. If this thing was made in the USA it could easily be $100 or more. The quich release function is the real game changer here for me, I love that I can leave the little metal nub installed in my Vortex 12x50 and just pop them into this mount whenever I need to. I am photography fanboy and use the Arca Swiss system whenever possible, it is the easiest and quickest (not to mention widely compatible with lots of various Arca Swiss style gear) was for me to attach things to my tripod and ball head. Loving this thing!Ease of Use:One of the standout features of this adapter is its user-friendly setup. In mere seconds, I can effortlessly attach my binoculars to a tripod, eliminating the strain of extended viewing sessions. This hands-free convenience allows me to focus on the breathtaking sights without the fatigue associated with handheld viewing. I was having trouble trying to hold these 12x50 steady hand held so the tripod is 100 times better. Gone are the days of shaky hands and blurred views. With the FANAUE Binocular Tripod Adapter, I now experience a level of stability that drastically improves the clarity of my observations. It minimizes any shaky movements, enabling me to enjoy sharp, clear images and vivid details even during high-magnification use.Ideal for Long Observations:Whether I'm observing squirrels, birds or immersing myself in the beauty of nature, this adapter has proven to be indispensable so far in the short time I've used it during long, uninterrupted observations. It's perfect for capturing mesmerizing moments without worrying about shaky hands or missing crucial details.I was about to pay more for the Vortex branded adapter and am very happy with this one, the quick detach and Arca Swiss compatibility are so nice and the quality is definitely there!

Great inexpensive mount
If I could give this adaptor another star, I would! Very stable with my Celestron 15x70 Skymaster binoculars mounted on a Manfrotto tripod. A couple of more expensive adapters were tried with poor results. The Carter key mount seems to make the difference and provides a very secure and tight attaching system which cleverly disconnects and eliminates the awkward mounting stem having to remain on the binoculars.

Works great on Vortex Razor 10 x 42
Fits and works great on Vortex Razor binos. Bought another one for my son to use.

They got it nearly right!
My homemade binoc mount annoys me and when I saw this one on sale at a decent price I bought it despite a couple of the 5 star reviews being clearly phony. I'm glad I did. There are no directions in box and I have no experience with commercial mounts but with some fumbling around and a review of the Amazon listing photos I was going within 10 minutes. This is a sturdy and functional mount for my no-name and pretty heavy 7x50 binocs that I primarily use for night sky photography through the binoc eyepiece. What could be better:- this is yet another product clearly designed by a young person with skinny fingers and no arthritis. The release slider in particular needs bigger slide button and smoother sliding action (yes, I know to release the knurled knob first!).- The weak point in the whole system is the quick mount. The slide mechanism secures the binocs/quick mount to the long tripod adapter but to prevent the binocs from rotating about the round quick mount shaft/body you must tighten the set screw/knob against the quick mount shaft. It takes a fair amount of twisting force to get it secure and it tends to work loose. I wish they had machined a dimple or flat spot on the adapter shaft to receive the set screw. At some point I expect to make this modification myself. If I had purchased at list price, with the above issues I would have rated 3 star. However I purchased on special for $11 dollars thus gaining a star for being a super value but still not a 5 star product especially for a person with 7 decade old hands.

Fantastic build quality
Great tripod mount at a fraction of the cost, I’ve had mine a little over a week and already put it through some good use, I’d recommend this for anyone who needs a tripod mount for their binos

Better than Bushnell's own.
I bought this FANAUE Binocular Tripod Adapter with a Quick Release, after I found out it had the quick release, to use with my Bushnell 7X35 Binoculars. You see, I have a built in hand tremor, and two badly damaged shoulders, so I really needed to mount it on a monopod. I believe this quick release is the "cat's meow". It is truly a great invention. There's a little knurled knob on the top. Loosen that and then slide the quick release's release button down, and the quick release comes out. Screw that onto your binoculars. Attach the bottom of the Adapter to your monopod support plate. Then slide the quick release back into the hole in the top of the Adapter while holding the release button down. Tighten the knurled knob, and voila! You're in business! Works like a charm. The fit and finish is perfect!I recommend this Binocular Adapter over the Bushnell's just because of that quick release! It truly is the cat's meow!

This is a really great item and well made. And its even better for the price reduction compared to Vortex's. I would buy again.
