I was reluctant to purchase this given a number of bad reviews. However there were some good reviews also and given the few alternatives I decided to go ahead.After it arrived I cut a small spare length for testing and stuck it to a spare bit of panel board which I cleaned with Methylated Spirit before fixing it in place. I checked it the following day and it took quite a pull to remove it.I then cut the three pieces I had purchased to length, mitred the corners and fixed in place after carefully cleaning all of the surfaces with Methylated Spirit. The most difficult thing was cutting the mitres on this fairly flexible material. I only used Silicone Sealant in the corners where I had made the cuts.Time will tell if these last a long time but they look good at present.

Great quality...however, it refused to go round the corner on our shower tray...it had to be cut, then sealed with a sealant product. It could have had a stronger adhesion too. But, after all of that, it looks very smart and does its job.

I ordered this 4M/157inch Shower Strip to seal the gap between my bath and tiled wall. The old silicone sealant had become mouldy and was peeling away, causing leaks whenever the shower was in use. This shower strip has proven to be an excellent solution.Upon arrival, the strip was rolled up in a packet, which initially worried me as I expected a hard plastic material. However, it is a flexible silicone strip, making it highly adaptable and easy to work with. The quality is great and feels durable.Cutting the strip accurately was a bit tricky due to its flexibility. I did a few test cuts using a Stanley knife before making the final cut, and it worked out fine. The adhesive provided, however, is a waste of time in my opinion. It barely holds and is not suitable for creating a water-tight seal. If you’re only sticking the strip for aesthetics, it might work, but for preventing leaks, it’s ineffective.Instead, I stripped away the glue from the strip to make the surface flat and applied a generous amount of waterproof silicone sealant along the edges. Pressing the strip firmly against the bath and tiled wall allowed the sealant to squeeze out slightly, which I wiped away for a clean finish. Once dried, the seal was incredibly strong and completely water-tight. This method creates a much stronger bond compared to the adhesive it comes with.Overall, the quality of this product is excellent, and it provides a perfect solution for sealing gaps in the bathroom. The delivery was fast, and the service was great. Highly recommend this shower strip to anyone facing similar issues.

The rubber is good quality has a nice shine, but the sticky backing is terrible absolutely useless has to use Superglue to attach it to the surface.

Great and easy to apply to bath

I am terrible at caulking, no matter what tool I use or even just my finger. It goes everywhere and isn’t smooth and ends up looking a right mess. But it seals well. I bought this to stick over my handy work to give it a more smooth and professional finish. If you’re like me and can’t seal to save your life, this is the product to cover up your lack of abilities! Cuts easily to size, sticks well and is a thick solid product. I also added some glue to assist.

This sealant is a great shape for the job I needed done.The adhesive strip is entirely rubbish and has no stickiness to it.I used a bathroom silicone grab adhesive and it worked fine.Don’t buy it if you are relying on the self-adhesive sticky strip.
