Taps are strong, although I was using them on plastic, so durability wasn’t truly tested. Worked as it was supposed to. The case is nice so they aren’t loose in my tool box

I used the one inch tap on a 80 gallon water tank and saved my customer well over 1,000 dollars.

Taps look like a good product for cutting pipe threads. Cutting surfaces look just a bit rough, but perfectly adequate for pipe fittings. The plastic shipping/storage box is great, but could be better with a better fit or something to prevent cutters from shifting around during shipment. I still think they look good.Made in China

I haven’t had the opportunity to use these yet but I’ve had many times in the past that I wished I already had these. It’s a great little set that looks high quality. I think they’ll last a long time. There’s a good amount of sizes so I’m sure I’ll be covered with whatever size I end up needing late on.

Very dull. Looking at the threads under a magnifying glass you could see the flat tops on each thread. Actually measured the flat spots on the 3/4 tap at .030 with a caliper. 1/4 npt tap would not even thread into various fittings I had but my other taps would. These might chase threads if you just want to smooth out a bur or something but you would probably do just as good with a grade 8 bolt which if you bought six of would probably cost you about the same. Good luck cutting metal threads with these. If they meet your needs they are cheap just make sure you don’t have high expectations.
