Dr.HOWSTogether EMBO cookware set (Frying pan 8")

I would have preferred a smooth bottom, as I'm not sure what the cross-hatching adds. Other than that, it's easy to season, cleans easily, and is quite sturdy. I bought an 8" lid for it, and the company may consider at least listing a compatible lid for the pan.

I absolutely love this non stick pan, thats what the honey comb patter is about, to help you cook fish, steak, hamburger patties, rice, vegetables, you name it, non stick! I am absolutely in love with this pan, cleaning it can be a problem ONLY when you leave oil on to burn, but if you know how to cook and be on top of your meals that shouldn’t be a problem and you wont have to scrub this pan since its non stick clean up is a breeze. Dont burn your food and cleaning this great pan should take less than 20 seconds

I love this stainless steel wok. It is not too big, but the perfect size to cook for 2 or 3 people. It is very well designed and constructed and has an ingenious non-stick pattern on the inside of the pan. The handle stays cool while you cook and move your ingredients around in the wok pan. True, Dr. How's products are expensive - but clearly they are worth the investment. I very highly recommend this product!

I recently made the switch to an induction cook top and was excited to try out these new frying pans. The honeycomb bottom interested me as I thought it would reduce the risk of burning and decrease the amount of oils required. The first thing I noticed when I placed it on the induction burner was a really loud buzzing sound. I tried a different style of induction compatible pan and it didn’t buzz nearly as badly but I decided to go ahead and use these pans as it’s stated they work with all burners. After spraying the smallest pan with cooking spray, I cracked an egg into the pan. Right away it started to stick and shortly after, burn. After scraping the egg onto my plate (it’s was still edible), I tried washing it. It took a significant amount of elbow grease with a Brillo pad and baking soda to get most of the burned food off the pan. Even then it was still visible, especially in the cracks of the honeycomb. Ugh…not what I want in a frying pan. I’m disappointed - a hard pass from me.

I ordered the set because my daughter is moving out and I wanted her to have a matching set. Plus, these are induction stove appropriate. However, I only received one, not all 3. I'm not sure what instructions came with it- it's not in English.The wok itself is awesome! It's raised, but it's still very smooth. Very easy to cook in and use. Does not stick. Cleans easily! And has even heat. It's not extremely heavy, but it's not cheaply made and has some weight behind it!
