This camera is fantasic. Crisp, nice to hold, all around great. I'd have loved a version with a silver top plate but It is still nice. The only knock I have is the kit lens; personally, I would not buy it with the kit lens if I had to do so again. It's an ok lens, but if you are expecting the fantastic photos and videos people show from this camera, that kit lens will just not give your photos justice. Buy the camera then an affordable Viltrox or similar lens in that 35mm-50mm size range.

The real surprise for me was the video quality. 4K60 (oversampled from 6K) looks stunning, and having 10-bit 4:2:2 recording, S-Log3, and a flip screen in such a small body makes this a legit tool for content creators and vloggers. The body feels durable yet compact enough to travel with, and the updated grip and new front dial make handling more intuitive than previous models. I’ve used it for street photography, YouTube content, and family events, and it hasn’t let me down once. If you want pro-level features without the full-frame size or price, the a6700 is one of the best APS-C cameras out there right now.

Great camera - note - the bundle with the 16-50 comes with the older Mark1 version of this lens. There are pros and cons to both the mark 1 and mark 2 so not saying its a bad thing, the listing should be more clear. I know it doesn't say its the mark 2 but that's deceptive. Plainly state that it comes with the mark 1 so people know.

The camera itself is amazing but for some reason the Amazon packaging was atrocious. They put the camera box inside of a bigger box with no padding. The camera was banging against the insides of the Amazon packaging. The camera is perfect though, I would argue it is the best value for money you can have. Whatever feature you would want in your camera, this one has it. Portability, stabilization, advanced auto-focus, easy to understand menus, flip touch screen, 10-bit colors, s-log, great for photos, great for videos and multiple options for wired/wireless connectivity.

I am so happy with this camera. It is a huge leap from my previous camera. I only had it two days, and have already printed and framed two photos. The quality is outstanding. It takes some time to learn the functionality but youtube helps.

I've had the a6000 for many years but the a6700 is a game changer. You won't be disappointed. I am blown away with the features along with the built in ai that makes the focus tracking so incredibly easy it's beyond words. Sony has addressed all of the old issues of the old a6000. Much better battery life, better menus, 4k 120fps video and soooo much more. Well done sony!!!
