Light qualityI used to be in the lighting business on the design side and the first thing I look for in an LED light is the “CRI” value or Color Rendering Index. This is the most important rating for an individual LED that determines how naturally they emit light to cover the whole visible spectrum. With a low rating, colors like orange or red will appear muted or even grayish. This light has a CRI of >95 which is very high (trusting the manufacturer to report this honestly). Most lights are ~80. The colors due seem to render quite well as per the photo.Next I look for the pulse frequency. At various dim settings, when you wave your hand can you see the light frequency? You’ll notice your hands bring a little choppy because it is being flashed too slowly. This light has smooth light at both bright and dim.The 4000K temperature is perfect for a work light. I wouldn’t want warm light as a feature for what I am doing.Build qualityThe finish on the frame is nice. The tubes have a bit of an apple satin aluminum look and all parts are of adequate quality. It doesn’t seem very heavy duty, so I could see this wearing out if handled carelessly. This is day 1 so time will tell.All in all this is an extremely high value light in my opinion. The price was $50 beginning 2020.Highly recommend for light duty workbench light.

The media could not be loaded.  I like the light, it's bright and easy to use as a task light or a ring light for video calls. Like others have said, you *hold down* the power button to change the brightness. My only complaint is that the bottom joint does not hold position. There's a an Allen key to tighten that locks the joints in place. If you don't tighten it the lamp pulls itself back to the starting position rather than staying where I move it each time.

I am a watercolor artist and needed a good task lamp with accurate color rendition for when I work after the sun goes down. This one is perfect. Fits nicely on my work area, turns on and off easily and dims as well. Super happy with it.

The on/off switch is flakey. You have to touch over and over to switch on and off. You have to HOLD your finger on the right spot for about 2-3 seconds to get the dimmer to work. Not intuitive. The light is bright and broad. So, it fulfills its purpose. The switch is pain. :-(

Sleek, bright, contemporary - perfect lamp for a modern home office.

The light is what I'm looking for, but falls short in practical means. It's is a neutral white with a bias towards a colder tone.It is rigid to an extent but if it's too close to being entirely straight it will snap the hinges backwards due to it being spring loaded.The foot with clamp is decent but is not entirely snug. Despite this it is still sturdy and I do not worry that the lamp would pop out.Turning the lamp on and off is easy. Getting the dimmer to work is a whole other ordeal. Sometimes it works with the first press, other times I'll spend literally a minute trying to get my light to dim.I wish it would be a bit brighter. And run a tad less greenish. Definitely not cri 90+.

This product has lovely light. However the control switch is challenging to use. I'm not sure if I ever got it dimmed as much as is possible. I prefer controls that are clear and easy to use.In addition, the light is not replaceable. When it burns out, you through the whole thing away. The light is supposed to last a long time. The switch is part of the light and I do not think it will be a durable. So this is not a very sustainable use of resources.

Takes about 3 minutes to set up, it's basically just plug and use, my one hang up is that the instruction page doesn't make it quite clear enough that you need to "press and hold the power switch to dim it" it says "Keep tapping this switch to adjust the brightness". Leading me to originally think i needed to spam touch it to dim it, which had me hung up for a bit but I figured it out by using google. So if you have difficulties with the dimming switch, try that before you return the item.
