Decent little game
This came without any instructions but was pretty easy to figure out to be honest. You have a number of discs, slip them into the whale's mouth then hit the button and they fire off into the air. You have two nets to catch them in and believe me it's not as easy as it sounds! We played with it inside and if you give it some welly on the button the discs hit the ceiling and were spinning up there for a while. This makes me think that outside you could really fire these things off, plus in a wind I'm sure they'd go in all different directions. Sadly we all know several will go missing almost immediately but that's OK, there's a few of them. You can also fire a couple at a time but with less power. Finally it seems pretty well made but I expect if playing with an over zealous child the mechanism may get broken fairly quickly as it is only plastic.I thought the price was quite high but I think for an item like this you wouldn't get it any cheaper so is probably in the right range. Over all I would recommend.

Fun for the garden - but lacks 'robustness'
This is great fun for the kids to play with outside. It has been used a few times over the summer (when the weather has allowed), but unfortunately it could do with being a little bit more 'child proof' or 'robust'. Sadly after a few weeks of heavy use by my 6 and 10 year olds, it's stopped working.Good fun, but for the price I'd like it to be a little more 'sturdy' !

Lovely but not sturdy
This is a delightful little toy to play with the children in the garden. The idea is simple; load the plastic discs (of which you get 8-2 of each colour) into the mouth of the big, plastic whale, and stomp on the pedal which launches the discs into the air! Then you need to try and catch them in the little nets provided-no mean feat! And that’s it really. The main concern for me (and the reason it’s fallen short of the full five stars) as I have serious reservations of the longevity of this toy. The main lever, which you stomp on, appears to be made entirely of plastic and older children, in an attempt to launch the discs higher than ever, stomp on it with increasing force. I can see this breaking shortly, if anyone older than toddlers has a go. I don’t think it would stand repeated heavy use by a bunch of overexcited 10 years old birthday party!Other than that, however, it’s a nice simple, innocent toy, very realistically price, and my granddaughters get a real buzz out of seeing the discs spin into the sky.

A little time consuming but fun
Fun flying saucer game. Easy to set up, the nets need to be assembled and also foam pad stickers need to be put onto the base of the whale saucer shooter. Each saucer needs to be manually loaded into the shooter and then the button needs to be stepped on to shoot it out. Works very well and the saucer goes really high. My 3 year old and 1 year old find it a little difficult to keep up with the saucer but my 9 year old can catch most of them. It is possible to load up to 4 saucers at a time to shoot out but they don't tend to go as high then. Really fun physical activity game however the loading of each individual saucer and stamping every time is a bit time consuming. Would be better if it fired the saucers automatically. Good fun, would recommend.

Kids really like it
This is a super fun toy for kids, it is suitable for outdoors, do not try it indoors, because it can be very messy.Kids really like it and they have so much fun with them, is good to take it to the park too.

Keeps the children occupied in summer
Any toy or game that keeps children occupied during the summer holidays is a bonus. This product lets them have fun chasing a disc around and attempting to catch them in their nets. It's simple enough to set up and then press the button and release the discs. The discs have a mind of their own and can fly off in different directions but it's fun to see the kids run around trying to catch them whichever way they go.Nothing too complicated in this game, it's simple and in my opinion a good form of exercise for the youngsters too.

kids liked it
Kids really enjoyed this. We found that loading one at a time worked better, as they went higher, which I liked as it kept them engaged with the game for longer and they also had to take turns. Kids ranged in ages from 2 - 10 years and they all loved it. It does however feel very cheap and we had to keep telling the kids to be gentle with it and not to stamp on it as it's very thin. We don't expect it will last long at all, but they will enjoy the play they get out of it.

Good fun while it lasted
My 5y/o daughter loved this. Sadly it lasted 2 days. The enthusiasm of wanting to make it go higher resulted in the plastic lever breaking inside, which wasn’t fixable and terminal. This should really be stronger or ideally metal.
