Expensive, but good quality knife
Great knife. Well balanced and holds its edge well. Love the green pakkawood handles and damascus steel make it a showpiece.

Worth the wait!
Unbelievable quality santuko. I was a little skeptical when ordering ( I know why but it), but once I started using it is amazing. Great blade, awesome edge, well balanced, handle is ergonomic. This is a slicer, not a chopping blade. More for fish, meats and fine slicing veggies. Great knife!!

Holy Sharp!
This thing comes out the box highly sharpened. Cuts through everything with ease, including fingers (ouch). Careful while cleaning, I nearly chopped my finger off grazing the blade with my finger; recommend a scrub daddy. Get food grade mineral oil to wipe on after cleaning to keep steel rust free.Well balanced. Nice design. Comfortable in the hand.

Very Impressed
I have a set of HexClad pans, which I love. Although I usually prefer my cast iron, I would recommend the HexClad pans all day. When a Black Friday sale rolled around I figured I would give the chef's knife a try since I've been impressed with their stuff so far. I prefer a chef knife with a little weight to it and this fit the bill perfectly.I've been using a Messermeister chef knife and while it's a great knife, the craftsmanship and the overall feel of the Hexclad knife is superior in my opinion. The dark green wooden handle is stunning and sits well in my hand. It looks incredible on my magnetic knife strip. I'm really surprised how much I love this knife. Next time a sale comes around I'm going to look into the rest of the knives to complete the set.If I remember, I'll follow up on how well the edge holds. But for now, this thing is SHARP. It literally shaves the hair off my arms (which is not its full time use lol) so be careful!

Extremely sharp
I’m sold on hexclad. We have most of the knives, pots, wok and frying pans. Does not stick. Easy to clean. Very expensive but well worth the investment.

Great knife
Saw on Instagram Ann Fisher. I had to get it and it is great. It’s very sharp and has a good weight to it. I love the green handle

Sharp. Good so far.
So far I like it. It's well balanced. It's sharp fresh out of the box. It wouldn't be my number one pick just because of the price entry point, but I wanted to try a Hexclad knife. Biggest complaint for the Santoku style is the blade is very sharp at the closest distance to the handle. It got the side of my index finger the first time I used it cutting chicken breast. So either use the pinch method or keep toward the rear of the handle when slicing.
