American Eagle Copper Round - 1 oz 0.999% Fine Copper Coin - Collector's Edition

I recently purchased the American Eagle Copper Ounce .999 Fine Copper round, and I am very impressed with the quality. The design is beautifully detailed, featuring the classic Walking Liberty image that looks even better in person. The copper has a bright, attractive finish and feels substantial in hand, giving it a premium appearance despite its affordable price.

Wish they were numismatic, but these are gorgeous coins.

It wasn’t more than about 10- 15 years ago that the price of copper skyrocketed. I was a General Contractor and I had a waiting list of customers from 2 years back that I foolishly signed contracts with and locked in prices. Then for whatever reasons. There was a copper shortage and the price of anything copper went through the roof. Copper wire. I 250 foot spool of 12 guage was 18 dollars and jumped up to 80 dollars and copper pipe , etc. and it took about 6 months to level off. So copper coins with this type of art on it. It’s my go to affordable collectible. This is exactly what I expected for look , price, value. And I have a feeling all commodities like prescious metals and the like can only go up In value. Also the way we use, abuse and waste it won’t be long for the next shortage.

Pretty coin.

Copper is copper and I anticipate it will inflate as other metals have over the years. I have been buying Amazon copper coins for some time as they a bit less expensive than if purchased on line through coin vendors and with prime I save on shipping. Most of the coins on Amazon are identical to those sold elsewhere. Rounds are cheaper, sold by weight, also available on Amazon. As with any metal investment, it is iffy and adjudging the potential for this only knowing how much electricians use copper. With my luck a substitute material will be created but at this price it's worth the risk.
