Compact Blender Juicer/Extractor, BJC-550

I use it every morning and it works great.

My item came quickly and all parts are in good condition. Was easy to set up and I used both the blender and the juicer parts for the first time this afternoon. For the price, it's fabulous and I am a Cuisinart lover. Some of the comments say that it leaks and I say to that, "so what..sponge it up!" I've been around long enough to remember when these units used to cost about $200! So I'm okay with bunching up a few leaks from the spout here and there .Very good product for the price.

I bought the Cuisinart Compact Blender Juicer, and overall, I’m very happy with it! It’s the perfect size for my counter, powerful enough for smoothies and fresh juices, and easy to clean afterward. The motor is strong, and it blends quickly with minimal effort. I also like that it’s quieter than some other blenders I’ve owned before. The build feels solid and well-made, as you’d expect from Cuisinart. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the blending jar is a bit on the smaller side, so if you make large portions, you might need to do a couple of batches. Other than that, it’s a great little appliance that makes healthy eating so much easier!

The parts come together easily enough, but that is the only good thing I like about it. All the things that I don't like: 1. Too loud 2. It jerks around when the pulp goes through the chute. 3. Messy-- the pulp gets in the top cover before it goes into the receptacle 4. The safety clip on one side comes loose during operation, stopping the process and you have to reset 5. The juice still has pulp in it

Purchased this juicer blender combo as a gift for my daughter for Christmas. She was juicing immediately the next morning and absolutely loves it. She gives me her leftover pulp (I dehydrate it and grind it up to add to the garden compost) and it is a very dry pulp. I've had a very expensive quality juicer for over a decade and this Cuisinart unit provides an every drier pulp than I've experienced. She is enjoying the money she is saving on fresh juices and juice blends.

Great machine. Very versatile.

Easy to assemble and easy to use, did a great job and easy clean up. Didn't clog, took a bag of apples, then used the pulp dried it for cookies. Love this juicer.
