I installed new Stand by Generator and needed something to cover the steel gas line. Easy and looks great. Very happy with it.

I needed a protective buffer for a guard railing in my kids large pack and play. The metal railing is a bare tube and I was concerned it may be a hazard if hit hard enough. This provided the perfect solution for my issues. The material is durable and thick enough to provide the protective buffer I needed.

Using in garage, but if it was for outside application it would be way too thin.

Pipe insulation of this sort comes in a few different styles. This version is very soft and spongy. It works fine as long as the fit is snug ro the pipe. It will not hold itself up. Arrives rolled and compacted, so it is best to unroll it and let it expand awhile before installation.

6.5 feet foam tube. Needed tubing to wrap exposed pipes from the elements, especially cold. Very thick foam tube and is equal to or better than what I am replacing it with. This foam tube has to be cut to allow you to wrap pipe. Previous foam tube I had was pre-slit. Not a big inconvenience but it would have been nice if it had already been slit.

This is a 6.6 foot roll of thick foam pipe insulation with a 1 inch inner diameter. Heavy and thick insulation for water pipes in winter among many other uses but my main use will be winter pipe protection. Quality product. Feel confident this product will do the job.

Arrived as described. Quality insulation material that we used on our split system pipes. Easy to work with.

I was a little surprised to not see a split to "wrap" this around a pipe. Is it only for new installs then? What I did is just cut a slit down it to use it on existing 3/4" water pipe and 1/2". It is a little small for the larger pipe, but I just wrapped some tape around it to keep it from coming off. Seems to work well when doing that.A perforation would have been nice to open it up if needed instead of having to cut it as it is hard to make it uniform.
