Purchased these to store heavy curtain panels and quilted blankets. They are made from thick steel and easily handle 20 lb curtain panels. They are not light weight, but I wasn't shopping for light weight. I wanted something strong enough to hold heavy panels with an open end that makes them easy to slip curtains or blankets on and off. I didn't need 6 but now that I have them I know I will find other heavy items to hang.

I bought these to hang sleeping bags after they broke the "heavy duty" plastic hangers I had been using. These metal blanket hangers are perfect - enough width and clearance to fit a 20 degree (or probably even puffier) sleeping bag, the rubber coating keeps the nylon from sliding, and they are clearly super strong (I think my closet bar would fail well before the hanger does). Amazon shipped them in a plastic bag which was pretty beat up from transit, but all the hangers were in perfect condition - they're durable! I'd say they're worth the price for sure.

We use these to hang sleeping bags in closets, which works perfectly. We could have used these for something much heavier though. They are very sturdy, and each one is weighty. I suspect they could hold even the heaviest blankets, and the rod bearing the hangers would break before these hangers ever would!

Will hold heavy blankets or tablecloths or whatever you want to use them for as long as your closet rods are up to holding the weight. The hangers are really nice

Bought this to display hand made quilts, the only thing to make it better would be to have a swivel hook (which might make it less sturdy)...very strong & sturdy

Great hangers I used them to hang my photography backdrops on which are heavy and bulky they are very strong and just what I needed! Very very happy with these hangers!

They do their job but they are super heavy so add the weight of the blanket and you’d better have strong closet rods! I think I would get wooden hangers if I were to do it again.
