Glad it wasn't purchased as a gift, because it was cut open before I got it! All the pieces seem to be there, though.

I have played many of “EXIT The game” series games, hence that is my basis for comparison. While this game is less challenging than the EXIT The game series and there are fewer puzzles to solve, it does have a lot going for it. Specially, the printed materials are of attractive and of high quality, you can play the game non-destructively (you can’t do this with EXIT the game), you can tackle the puzzles linearly or not, and the provided hints are just enough to get you on the right track. The game is rated on the Easy end of the scale by the manufacturer, and I would agree with this. The ancient Egypt theme is a great one for this type of game and hieroglyphs factor into it as you’d expect. You can play the game solo, or with multiple people but given the difficulty level its probably best with fewer people unless all players are pure beginners. There is only one other game in this Ridley Games, Timescape series, hopefully they will continue to release additional games and increase the difficulty levels.
