Overall, this pump is a great deal
I'm still waiting to install this in the well, but I wanted to test it before I sent money down the drain, if there were any major issues with this pump. With no significant head pressure, it pumped approximately 30 gpm. It operates very quietly and smoothly. I was glad to have the long power cord and plug for easy testing on the 110v AC outlet. Much of the housing is stainless steel, however there are plastic components on the intake and output ends. Seller makes this clear in the ad, but just a reminder. I see a little corrosion on one of the screws, which is very odd. It makes me think that at least that screw isn't stainless. It's possible that it is indeed stainless, but the manufacturer forgot to wipe off anti-seize or some sort of material that wasn't intended to be present in the finished product. I'm quite pleased with this pump and look forward to getting it installed. It's low power consumption is perfect for the off-grid location of the well. If it holds up well, we'll just leave it installed even after we pull power to the property. At two hundred bucks for a deep well pump rated for around two hundred feet, it gets a two thumbs up from me. If I run into any issues with it, I'll come back and update the review.

You got what you pay for.
I purchased in November to have one on hand just in case my other pump went bad. When my other pump went bad this one didn't work. Outside the 30-day return sucks to be me! You got what you pay for. It would not hold pressure.

Failed within 6 months
*Updated to 3 stars from 1 because the company reached out and provided a full refund. Pump completely failed after 5 months. Reached out to customer service via their website as instructed in the listing and did not receive a response after a week. The company is in China so I wasn’t expecting much. Our previous pump lasted over 7 years for context as to the environment in which it failed. Also, maybe 4 months after purchase I pulled the pump and noticed the casing/housing was rusted. I didn’t feel good about that but it was still functioning at that point so I let that slide. Our previous pump had zero rust after 7 years so… off to buy another pump. Certainly not this brand.
