I sat on the fence with these for a while because of some of the reviews. The stainless steel is not thin as some reviews indicate. They are a decent weight and the silicone gasket is removable. The first time it was a little work to remove the gasket but after that first time it removes rather easily for cleaning. No leakage and the silicone gasket creates a great seal. They are perfect for my needs. I freeze individual servings of Kitchari in these without the toxins that come from plastics. These are 100% stainless aside from the gasket. I am totally happy with the purchase.

They’re durable, no scratches after multiple washes . They hold tight and they’re leak proof. Very pretty in their matte style. I wish they had bigger versions, I would buy them too.

Just 10 days after the return window these started to show rust. So sad! I gave 2 stars because I liked the size and the seal is good, but these aren't going to last long and I'll have to buy something else.*EDIT* good costumer service, responded with a refund without return when I contacted them. I can still use the containers for pre-packaged items, but I don’t put food directly in them due to the rust.

Water tight great for survival applications , camping ,durable little container.

I am a flight attendant and have to meal prep and take them with me, all the time. I freeze them, I have put them in the plane oven (without the lid), and I have run them through the dishwasher several times and these are my favorite containers. And believe me, I have been though a few. I do take out the rubber seal before throwing in the dishwasher and I have never had a problem with leaking. For their small size, they really do hold a good amount of food, as you can really fill them up. It also helps keep my lunchbag cold since I freeze the meals for 3 day trips.** Update. I have been using these over a year and have ordered them two more times. Not because of defect but because I needed MORE.

I loved these containers when I received them. They were exactly what I wanted. However, after 2 uses the plastic seal on the top that seals the container closed fell off at school and now it doesn’t close.

Holds about 2c of dogfood kibble, with a freshness seal. Exactly what I wanted.
