I'm new to alcohol markers. But not to coloring. I was looking for an alternative to colored pencils because they kill my hands. I've tried a lot of water based products and all I get is a streaky mess. I got other sets of alcohol markers and while they were good, they weren't great. And they're much easier on my hands in general. But I needed pastels. And after much research I learned that I'll get better results with brush tips rather than fine or chisel tips. These fit the bill without a price that hurt my feelings. They are true pastels and there's a lovely range. There are a lot of peachy colors and I'd prefer more true pinks. But these were fantastic for a starter to fill in my needs for lighter colors. The whole picture is done with the pastel set. Under the brim of the hat is the only deep color. The rest that seem deeper is where I built up the pastels by layering. Which they did a beautiful job. There is very little streaking and I assume that's more due to user error. You have to move quickly. These markers blended easily and beautifully. I cannot attest to the longevity of these markers as they are new. But they're very well made. I do wish they came in cases that stored them horizontally as markers do last longer when stored on their side. So I do reccomend just laying them down when not in use. They come with a small labeled swatch card and a bleed sheet to protect other pages. ALL alcohol markers will bleed to some degree. These bled through but didn't leave ink on the sheet protector underneath. All in all, I would not hesitate to buy these again.

They are great quality the nibs are strong and don’t fray as quickly as other brands. So far these are up there I. Quality as the Ohuhu brand maybe even better and they don’t take weeks to arrive like the Ohuhu!!!! I have several different brands shuttle art, Calliart, Ohuhu, Michaels artist concepts, and prisma color alcohol markers and these are def top tier then when you take in the price it makes it even better! My biggest issue is finding a wide range of colors because a lot of the cheaper brands only have 200 but usually less. This brand has a great color range and the ink is very blendable and the markers are great quality all around def recommend!!!

I love this brand of markers so much! The colors are very cute, the ink goes on the pages nicely!The price is super fair for the quality and amount of markers you get!I haven't noticed any leaking yet, and the ink hasn't ran out of any yet so good durably!The markers are a good size to hold, not to thick and not too thin!I have so much fun coloring with these, i can't wait to buy the big set!

the colors are so pretty and the markers draw very smooth. I bought these since I’m planning on getting into coloring, and as a beginner they’re very easy to use. I had no idea that it came with a page so the markers don’t bleed through, which is just what I needed! It also comes with a test page so you can see what they all look like on paper, which is so helpful

4 stars for the similar color palette. This seems to be the norm for these budget friendly marker sets, so I'll share what I feel could be better. My POV comes as a beginner Colorist and a Watercolor Hobbyist of over 5 years.This pack comes with 11 colors, 12 markers altogether with the colorless blender. Within those 11 colors, Y145, YR20 + YR209 are almost identical. Instead, we're missing a deeper, cooler brown or darker yellow ochre to work with the R27. The same could be said about R21+R30. 2 similar pinks??? The repetitiveness is frustrating. I'd like to color darker skin tones as well, so this set could have been better selected. I will use them for practice though. Again, I'm just a beginner.The marker barrel, brush+chisel tip are well made though. They feel great in my hand. They are NOT bleed resistant, so use the small plastic film that comes with the set or extra paper in between your pages. The included swatch card isn't real paper, more like slick cardboard, so swatch on true white paper so you can see the markers real colors. All in all, I know I'll do fine with them. I think they'll perform nicely in the H.Karlzon + J.Basford books.I will include natural light pictures in this review. I do recommend them 100% for their quality... There is good value in this purchase.

Blends well and colors are beautiful. Rich with fluid and I love the way they look.

I give these a 3 because this set comes with too many light colors or ugly colors, not enough greens, browns, yellows and no reds.. There are very few colors you can blend with because this package has way too many odd colors and the caps stick. a few of them I can not get the brush caps off no matter what I do.. I will never buy these again

I have been using these for a week now and they are amazing, sometimes I feel better than Ohuhu. Blend really well, colorless blender does great job and they flow so smooth on the paper. Worth every penny.
