I have been shooting archery for years and have a stabilizer I like. I saw this one and decided to give it a try since it looked like it might work. I would consider the quality to match the price. It's something I would give to a beginner. One concern I have is with the stem. After installing it, I wanted to remove it and the stem stayed in my bow. This would indicate someone missed a step during the manufacturing process.

(Stabilizers-PT-6")....arrived quickly. Comes in a tube piece plastic tube. The tube is taped completely around where the two pieces meet. It took me over 5 minutes to peel the tape off the tube to get the tube to separate to get the stabilizer out of the tube. Then discovered the stabilizer dampers were larger than the tube and had to wiggle the damper out of the tube. So the case will be hardly reuseable for the stablizer. Had to right this review before I forgot these issues after I review how useful the stablizer is on my compound bow. It might be awhile before I can get to testing this on my bow. This is a nice bow stabilizer; I use it for my Prime target compound bow. Which is a large framed bow and can use a bit of stabilization and weight adjustment.This stabilizer is constructed of both aluminum and carbon fiber, fits the standard universal threads used on all bow stabilizer mounts.There are 4 removable rubber gasket rings at the tip of the stabilizer, which can be removed with a pick. Just note there are no removable weights at the tip end, even though it looks like there is.However, one great feature is the tip of the stabilizer uses the same thread as the base, so you can screw on another stabilizer and increase the length as you wish. I use a 6" and 8" stabilizer connected together at the front of the bow and a single 8" stabilizer at the rear. You can add and remove them depending on your needs or use additional aftermarket weights which will screw directly to the tip end of these stabilizers.Overall, very happy with this stabilizer, looks great as well, doesn't come with any ugly graphics on the sides, very high-quality look and feel, you will like how they work and look on your bow!
