Honestly, as far as audio quality goes you get an A for both effort and execution.Sound clarity is comparable to $1500 hearing aids(I would know, Phonak is a pretty pricy brand).I suffer from profound hearing loss, so I do have to turn these up to max volume to get "normal " hearing, but even so, the speaker is not straining at full power.No crackling, no fizzing, audio is stable,and well balanced.Background noise is well controlled.No feedback or whistling issues.Great battery life so far, so I'm guessing lithium batteries (I approve)Case has internal battery to charge the hearing aids.For the price and performance thus far, anything less than 5 stars would be a crime.I've been wearing hearing aids for 16 years. Not knockoffs, actual hearing aids, and these are some pretty damn solid and affordable "knockoffs".So much so, I can confidently say these can be called hearing aids.

Bought this for my 100 yr old mother who is deaf in one ear and mostly deaf in the other. Using one helps her to hear, enough so you don't have to shout at her. Sometimes we get feedback when it is inserted, but by turning down the volume, it disappears. The only problem is that the ear canal piece wants to fall out all the time. We have to reinsert it while we visit. Afterwards, we have to return it to its case in a safe place, as she will lose it otherwise. A cheap, but useful hearing option.

After losing my high end ($3,000!) hearing aids, not once, but twice, I figured I'd try an off-the-shelf, much less expensive pair of hearing aids. So, I bought a pair on Amazon for $190. As with all hearing aid instructions, I gave them more than a month for my brain to adjust, but even at the lowest setting, cars going by sounded like fighter jets screaming by, and itched like crazy. Traded those in for a $99 pair, and much the same. There were three settings, and even at the lowest, I'd have to yank them off in traffic or even a crowded room.Then I tried these Hupzund aids for a whopping $34!! Was the very best buy I've made in a long time. They are comfortable to wear, and wonder of wonders, the designers made them with a little volume control wheel. No more being stuck with the LOUD, SUPER LOUD, EXCEEDING LOUD options the other two hearing aids offered. Now, I can just turn the little volume wheel down to the bear minimum, so passing cars and talking people sound like they did in the good ol' days before my hearing started to decline. If the environment is such that I can't hear something, I just tweak the volume up a bit until the voices and sounds come through comfortably loud and clear.

I got the hearing aides today in the mail. I am not impressed at all. I hearing a lot of static noise. I am sending the hearing aides back. I am disappointed ☹️

They pick up too much secondary noise and are not easy to adjust. Fit isn’t bad but trying to adjust them you need to have pixie fingers. Any extra noise is too loud so still not able to help hearing. Was very hopeful with these but it’s a no - returning them.

The first set only lasted about 2 weeks before the battery in one stopped charging. it would not work at all! I sent it back for a replacement. So far they are working okay?

Bought the set for my dad! He has been hesitant wearing hearing aids and these are perfect for him. He said it has helped a lot and he doesn't feel like he is straining to hear things!

I BOUGHT this hearing aid for my elderly father. As soon as we got it charged up and turned on, he was able to hear. Hell, he was able to hear better than me! He was able to hear conversations happening in other rooms. This thing could almost work as a spy device or something. Once we got the volume adjusted and chose the correct size ear tip, he was ready to go. They’re easy enough for him to operate and charge daily. The only issue we has was the fact that there is no power indicator light. There were a couple of instances where he couldn’t tell if the power switch was on or off. Though, the high-pitch feedback reminded him to turn them off. Other than that, these hearing aids work great. He can now hear us when conversing, without yelling or loud repeating. I am so happy that I made this purchase!
