This book was recommended by a friend who knew I didn't play golf. I purchased it for my son-in-law who does play golf. He'll get it when I finish reading it. The book was in mint condition.

This is a wonderful compilation of the wit, life experiences & wisdom of a golf guru. This is a great addition to any golfer's library and a pleasure to read. There's really no mechanical instructions presented it's all anecdotal. Have had a difficult time putting the book down when I'm reading it.

The value of Mr Penick's teaching is immense. All of us who have play the game of golf for a while, know how difficult it is to master it. With Mr Penick's tips though, we can get closer to play our best golf. Wonderful book!

I had read Harvey Penick's Red Book and so wanted to get this one. This one has some endearing golf stories and some tips as well, but the first one is a priceless reference and full of things to encourage golfers at any level. Make sure you get it first. Then if you want to add this one, it's like icing on the cake.

This book gives the reader timeless tips,humor and lessons on life. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to learn about how to play golf.

This is a good read if you are a golfer. For people who don't play golf they would find it a little boring. Personally I really enjoyed it.

Harvey is the best golf teacher and author there is. A must read for any golfer, beginner or advanced.

Another slice of old world charm to complement the 'Little Red Book'. Mr Pennick dispenses more tiny gems of golf advice coupled with reminiscences from a lifetime of golf instruction. If you're looking for spine angles, hand positions, and endless paralysis by analysis then this book is definitely not for you. If you want something that you can dip in and out of where you can savour the genuine warmth of a man who loved and lived for the game then pour yourself a glass of your favourite tipple, sink into your arm chair and indulge yourself.

Easy to understand. Words of a master instructor. Lessons all golfers can follow.

著者の前作であるRed Bookに引き続いて読みました。前作はコーチ業虎の巻きでしたが、本作は生徒、友人との交友エピソードを通してゴルフに対する考え方を明らかにしています。技術論的に「目から鱗」というものはありませんが、素晴らしい自然の中で、好きなゴルフを仕事として、よき伴侶、友人、生徒に恵まれた彼のライフスタイルをうらやましく思います。アメリカ（彼の生活したテキサスだけかも知れませんが）の人々の生活とゴルフというものが、コースの緑の匂いとともに伝わってきます。

訳本との対比で購入したが、対比することでより深く内容が理解できた。ゴルフの技術面よりも、ぺニックがかかわってきた人を通してゴルフの奥深さが伝わってくる。
