Makes the job much easier
Great, does the job well. We're farmers and often have mole problems. When you're pushing a piece of plastic pipe into the ground over and over again, trying to find runs, your palms start to hurt! This makes it much easier. Just hope the hubby doesn't leave it in a field and lose it🤣

In less than 24 hours your mole problem solved!
Next day delivery on Wednesday, placed in the ground Thursday and caught the offending mole by morning on Friday! Superb and can’t recommend enough as nice clean kill.

Usable but a bit short
Well made with a wooden handle and stainless steel shaft. However it is quite short at only 2ft (60cm) so you are bent over when using it and for deep runs you are practically touching your toes. There are longer ones available which are not so hard on the back. 9 months on and although I have not used it much the wooden handle has come off. Admittedly its has been bouncing around in a box on the back of a quad bike but my steel handled probes don't suffer from this.

Game changer
I didn't bother buying this when I bought the traps, but I'm really pleased I changed my mind. The mole creates hills on side-tunnels not on the main drag, so placing a trap in an uncovered molehill isn't as effective as placing it in their main tunnels, which run alongside. I can understand why some people say the traps don't work - without the mole-run finder you are practically wasting your time. This simple device was a gamechanger and, having had little success beforehand, I cleared my 1-acre garden of moles quickly and efficiently once I had it. If you are buying mole traps then this is as essential as the traps themselves.

Simple and effective
This tool to find a mole run is well made and is effective. The handle in addition helps prepare the openings of the tunnels prior to inserting the trap.

It does what it says on the tin
It's a metal rod with a handle at one end and a bulbous end at the other. The bulbous end could be more pointed for easier penetration of hard baked soil but apart from that its fine. Would be even better if it would automatically find the right run the little critters are using !
