A useful tool for pet lovers.
I have seen this type of tool advertised in various blogs over the past few years but it seemed like it was limiting and also harmful on many types of fabrics. For the longest time, I was using a vacuum and lint rollers to remove fur but eventually realized it wasn't doing enough. It wasn't getting the fur that was deeper ingrained and wanted to get deep clean on my carpet and couches. So there are a dozen variations and types and they all pretty much are the same thing--the metal teeth that grabs the hair. Getting this one was purely based on price cuz I didn't want to pay a lot and it not work and waste money. I also liked that it was smaller than some of the ones out there and gave it a chance. It's very sturdy. The handle has a rubber grip (that attracts fur hair very easily, ugh) and the head of the tool, the magic part of this product, is the perfect size for me. It definitely gets hair that's embedded deep in carpet and cloth couches and (I have cats) also digs out bits of litter that the vacuum missed.I've tried this tool on various types of fabrics and it works best on carpet that has a tight weave or very short and taut. I found that the weave of any cloth will affect the effectiveness of this tool. Any loose weaves will catch on the metal teeth and possibly damage the fabric or create snags. I also found that if the fabric is too loose, this tool is useless so I have to create a very flat/tight surface in order to get any hair. It works well on felt as well. I like that it can get into smaller spaces and is easier to maneuver with it on different types of furniture.I tried this on different types of blankets, again, hit or miss depending on the weave of the fabric. I also tried this on my cat towers...mine are mostly made of a larger weave so the teeth catch on those vs grabbing the hair so not very helpful on my cat towers. It could be this particular tool and a similar type might work better, not sure.Despite some downsides, I will say it's still beneficial for most of my furniture with fabric on it. Not perfect, but definitely worth the price.

Gave it 4 stars as it is very limited to the fabrics and materials it works on in cars
I used this on the carpet in a car and it works great!. I could only use it on the outer upholstery of the seats in the particular car I bought it to clean. It tore up the fabric material on the back dash. It didn't work the best and the fabric the trunk either. This was a 2012 Chevy Impala. Was the first time I used a product like this with the intent to remove a lot of impeded dog hair. Per instructions be sure to test it on the fabric inconspicuous area. For quick pet hair clean up I imagine it does the job well.

Be careful with nubby fabrics
I have 2 German Shepherd-Huskies...that's a lot of hair to vacuum 12 months a year. And no vacuum is perfect; nothing gets it all. No matter how many blankets I put on the couches or our bed to protect them from the fur, I am still easily identified as a dog owner any time I go out in public. And it's embarrassing to have any friends over without having to lint roller them down when they go home. So when I saw this, I was excited and hopeful! Oh, my goodness! So easy! And quick! I cleaned a 8x10 foot rug in about 5 minutes! Massive amount of hair cleaned off! I have both wool carpets and polypropylene. And then I tried my couch...while the instructions do warn against using this on certain fabrics, I was hopeful for my couch. Nope, too nubby. The tool does snag/catch on the heavy weave of our couch fabric, so no luck there. You would need a smoother fabric like a microfiber, cotton or velvet. You can adjust the angle you drag the tool with for different fabrics, but the copper cleaning head will catch on some, no matter what. The manufacturer includes instructions clearly about that, but obviously can't list every single one. There are other tools out there like this, but the price couldn't be beat and the quality is still there.

Love!!
Didn’t want to post a picture because it’s kinda gross how much dog hair this tool took of my rugs but holy crap is this tool good!! I had two huskies and a Doberman at some point. Huskies as you may already know shed year-round and their hair gets everywhere. Dobermans have more fine and short hair, but they also do shed a bit. I expected this tool to pick up the husky hair for sure, but was more amazed that it picked up the tiny tiny Doberman hairs. Think I will get another one to keep in car too because it heard get the hairs off the seats and mats!

Amazing
I have non shedding dogs but partner brings his super shredder every weekend. I vacuum then use this and still come up with mounds of hair after vacuuming. It's not even obvious that there is hair on my patterned area rug until I start swiping Iverson it with this. EWWW! Everyone with a dog or cat needs this! I used on my arm chairs too.

Works really well!
I originally got this to try and clean some cat hair off the pillow covers on my couch and it worked ok for that, but it works brilliantly on the cat tower. The amount of hair I was able to remove in just a couple minutes was incredible. The tower looked almost brand new after I was done. I've tried vacuuming it before but it was nothing compared to this. I haven't tried it on my rug, but I imagine it would work really well there too considering the material is similar.

This is my new favorite thing
I had heard of tools like this to help get dog hair out of carpet but I never actually tried one. I have a German Shepard who sheds like crazy and her fur would always clog up every vacuum and carpet cleaner I would use, but this tool has made my carpet look brand new 😩 I thought my carpet was just dirty but it was just layers of dog fur that weren’t coming out when I vacuumed. I can never live my life without this tool now

Cleaned up our animal hair quickly
This little tool has saved me embarrassment with my guests. No one wants to sit on furniture with cat and dog hair on it; and carpeting is unsightly with the fur and what gets tangled up in it. Like, where's the carpet? Excellent for the price.
