I am a wash once a week, don’t flat iron daily, organic hair treatment kind of girl. This checked all the boxes. It is awesome! I usually use Lush Cosmetics but their hair care was getting too expensive. This is super comparable and a better price point. I put it in, leave for 5 minutes and brush with the little comb that comes with it. I have to shampoo my hair twice in a row but other than that it works and comes out really smooth!

I was super excited for all of these healthy, clean ingredients. I thought it would transform my hair into the hair of a goddess!This stuff is thick, almost like a paste. You have to scoop it out, rub your hands together, apply it and then shampoo it out. To smooth a paste through hair is almost impossible to get through all the layers of hair and not just coat the top layer. I applied it, and the included comb is waaaayyyyy too small to be of any use, so I used my regular wide tooth shower comb. Trying to comb this stuff though was difficult. I applied a cap over my hair to let it do its thing. When it was time to shampoo it out it took 3 washes, it felt like I was trying to wash out Vaseline. I ended up missing a spot and that spot was like an l oil slick when my hair dried. I tried again with similar results. You have to shampoo so much, to avoid an oil slick, that it washes away any conditioning aspect.

Whoops but WoW!I did not notice that the product is specially formulated for black and curly hair when I ordered it. I am Caucasian with very fine hair that has been damaged from too much hair dye and heat. It is one of the better mistakes I have made!!I live in Florida and with the humidity, fine, frizzy hair is not a good look. . . .I searched for Fenugreek, specifically due to all of the hype online. It's NOT just hype! My hair has never been so soft and swingy and I have tried so very many products and home remedies. Many products softened it but did not do much for the damage. As soon as I colored again, all of the softness was gone. Adding so much product to tame the frizz wasn't helping. It left my hair feeling coated and weighed down.I was hesitant before applying, as it has a jelly-like texture. I was afraid it would be another product that coats the top of the cuticle to tame frizz temporarily. I pressed on anyway. Got my plastic cap and old school hair dryer out and heated it up. After about twenty minutes, I wrapped a towel on my cap and got busy around the house. Before I knew it, an hour had passed. Then I decided to do a facial before rinsing so perhaps an hour and a half.Rinsed it well with warm water and it felt so very soft, even while still wet. I had been on no shampoo - rinse only for four days prior, so I did shampoo and condition just the ends, after. I used no other product on my hair. No root lifters or silicone. No heat, either. I just let it dry on it's own.It was an amazing experience. My hair was like silk! Not only was it not weighed down, it was full of volume and swing. I couldn't stop brushing it and running my hands through it. I had a very noticeable difference in the health and condition in my hair. I did three treatments the first week. Finally - a product that restores and balances! No stripping of my hair color, at all.A little goes a long way and this is a very large jar. I expect that it will last for quite a long time. I can't wait to see the result after six months. After only three treatments I noticed barely any hair fall. My scalp felt so clean, like it removed stuck on product, even though I concentrated on the ends, I did use a scalp scrubber both before and during shampooing. I could scratch around my hairline and see stuff lifting.I am hooked on this now and I'm leaving it in my cart. I want to order another, in case I can't find it when I run out.Highly recommended - even for fine hair. Do not hesitate!
