1/8 Inch BSP 12V 2 Way Normally Closed Electric Solenoid Air Valve 2V025-06 Junction Box

This valve is perfect for my pneumatic actuator design. I wanted a start stop valve at the start of the system and with this I can turn the supply off at will electronically. The main valve block is a good quality all metal design with tight seals.

I wanted to use this new solenoid to automate the air assist on my laser. When the end-to-end solution didn't work I tried all manner of things to figure out what was wrong - including taking voltage readings at the solenoid connections (which was correctly receiving 24V) - but no response from the solenoid - including no magnetic reading - so the electromagnetic coil wasn't activating. So I decided to buy another solenoid of the same spec but from a different manufacturer - to see if the solenoid was actually working... The 2nd solenoid worked straight away (Heschen Electrical Pneumatic Solenoid Valve 2V025-08 24VDC PT1/4 2/2 Way Normally Closed CE IP65). I wasted a hole day with a non-functioning TAILONZ PNEUMATIC 1/8 Inch BSP 24V solenoid. Not worth the hassle of returning it. Do they even test these things before they leave the factory...?!

This standard solenoid valve works well and is good quality. It feels durable and well made too. Very pleased with this valve and I would order it again.
