I haven’t seen banana clips since the ‘90s, and I had forgotten how much fun they are to wear! The only difference between these and the vintage ones from the ‘90s is that these are a bit difficult to separate from one end to open them. It actually looks like you can separate them from either end. The clips seem sturdy, but because of this odd mechanism, I’m not sure how long they will last. They do grip a large amount of hair and stay in place. The price is good for these clips.

Too small

The hair comb teeth need to be a bit longer. I have wavy medium length hair and the banana clip would break apart when I attempted to put my hair up in a pony tail.

Thick hair, long hair approved. The snaps are wide to hold everything. They arrived very neat and better than every brand I've encountered in store

Won't hold my thick heavy hair.

This is just like I used every day back in the 1980"s on my lions mane of thick hair. Only drawback now is my hair has thinned, so I wish it gripped the hair together tighter, but it does the trick. Nice product count for the price. Can't go wrong with this choice.

Does not stay in my hair.

Shape is not like the original 80's version which were a more flexible material but they do the job. They are long enough which is great.
