Simple, inexpensive and works. You learn quickly when your own "butt" is on the line, so to speak! As depressing as it was to find myself looking for this, I so very much appreciated that it wasn't another one of those horrid institutional-looking beige or pukey pale greens that are usually pushed on those needing to purchase lower cost medical devices. The color is a dusty rose...to me it makes it a lot less depressing - it's more humanizing and less medical. FOR NEWBIES (like myself) - I'd recommend trying water that is cooler than you think you'll want first. I went in the reverse...though my hand felt fine in it and it did not burn me, it made my upset nerves more upset. Just changing to a bit cooler water and gradually adding warmer water made all the difference. THANK YOU FOR NOT BEING AN UGLY INSTITUTIONAL COLOR: I advocate for every person's psychological well-being being part of what we sell...to me, as a woman, this did so. I want to applaud any and all companies that show, not just an understanding of aesthetics for better sales, but also because they care about how their products affect those needing to use them. Wealthy people can always find a nice-looking alternative, but if you are poor...those people get emotionally hammered as they aren't allowed choice. Well done Nova. Also, though I wasn't looking for a bag...didn't even know why one was included...I found the engineering quite innovative and useful.

Thank you Nova for making a product that allows us to actually use the bag feature. For those that do, it is VERY important that the clip on the bottom of the bath holds the tubing in place because if not, the water will spray ALL over the place. Such a simple design but it WORKS and water overflows in the toilet NOT on the floor. in my opinion, this is the BEST stiz bath on the market. Fits my standard AND my oval oversized toilet perfectly. Comfortable too, much easier than pouring a bath in the tub 3 x a day. Kudo's and many thanks!

I used this during my pregnancy and hoping to continue to use it after birth due to hemorrhoid issues. This seemed like a good option at a good price and I have used it almost everyday. It fits our oblong modern toilet seat and never overflows. I also love the pouch and tube that it comes with it. The tube has a water stopper so you can control the water flow when you want more warm water to replace the water in the bowl and this will keep the water in the basin warm for a good 15min or more. I also sometimes just use the pouch while going number 2 during difficult hemorrhoid times (sorry, tmi but it was so helpful). It kept my pain to minimal by having constant warm water and also helped to clean the area. Only thing I might change about this item is the quality of the seat. I'd like to see something a bit more sturdy since I'm starting to see it bend slightly but for now after about 20 uses, it is still going strong (im currently about 160lbs 9 months pregnant, 5ft 4in) I actually catch my 7yr old using this also and he is able to set it up by himself. I don't know why he uses it but as long as he keeps himself busy, I'm happy. I may have to buy another one for him.

I was very thankful for the use of this sitz bath, which I used for several weeks. It fits very well on the toilet, under the seat. I didn't want to spend a fortune for medication for the itching, so I followed the recommendation of using it 3 times a day for 15 minutes. After a time, I have had no more problems. Combined with the use of a hemmhoroid pillow, it works wonders for this condition.

The price and quality seemed good, the concept is good. I think it did not work for me was my personal condition. When I sat on it the water could not get out and drain. If you are not extra size it may work just fine. If you have the need for a sitz bath and aren't too big this probably will give you great relief. Delivery was in 2 days also.

This is a wonderful product after Hemorrhoid surgery. I put abt a tablespoon or less of epsom salts and added 1 drop of each essential oil of lavender, clove and frankincense to the salt then added hot as i could stand it hot water to the sitz bath poured in the salt and sat for abt 15 min. It was so so soothing to that area. I highly recommend this.

Very inexpensive compare to Walgreens who sells the same exact item for close to $30 bucks. Very light and compact, great for daily soaks. It can be used for multiple things but what I like is that you don't have to have a full bath to soak you just put it on top of your toilet seat and BAM instant hip bath!

Well worth buying. If you do not have a bidet, and are having any kind kind of issue with your tushie, this is a great way to relieve and soothe, apply meds or just cleanse yourself. Simple and easy to use. Bag is sturdy and has a seal that helps with backflow.
