This is the one I find most useful!
These are my favorite modular storage boxes made by Sortimo. I use many different combinations of these for all of my on-site gear. I stack everything I need together and roll on a four wheel dolly. They look very tidy and professional and are great for doing work in occupied spaces and especially for high-rise residences. I use mine for work in museum environments as well. I have many clients comment on how clever the tool boxes are. This particular box is the one I find most useful with the top of the box being the size of an L-BOXX2 and the open area being able to accommodate many combinations of drawers. The drawers slide in easily and sort of lock in place for transportation but easily slide out with a slight lift on the drawer handle to got it over a small catch on the slide. It's nice to stack up enough on a dolly to double as a high rolling work stand to keep from bending your back as much. The small slot on the sides of the top where other boxes can interlock when stacked is perfect for hanging tools with belt clips such as drivers and drills. The handles snap into their positions for storage or carry surely and easily and are super strong. The red latches for the top storage might seem a little light weight but are in fact very strong as well. They latch well but are easy to open. The boxes can take a little practice to set in place on top of one another and can be slightly awkward when filled with heavy items but lock together relatively easy and are no problem to unlock from one another. several cases can be picked up from the top handle when they're attached together. The bosses are made from ABS plastic and are very strong. I have broken one before by mis-handling it and I was able to easily cold weld it with acetone. It is now as strong as new. I hope this review is helpful.

Great for art supplies!
Not only is this good for tools...this system is perfect for artist and crafters as well! I used to use a regular tool box with three shallow drawers for my artist paints and brushes. The top on the old box was getting maxed out on capacity. I sometimes have to travel to an on site location and having a good portable system with all my paints and brushes is critical. The art supply world is seriously lacking in ways to store, organize, and mobilize that is not supper flimsy. I searched for a long time before I found this Bosch system. It’s very sturdy... I can keep everything in one place and it’s even good for moving around the house because depending on the size of what I’m working on I sometimes have to work in the garage or the kitchen or even outside. I was a little confused about what drawers I could use together in the 3D so I had to make a couple of returns. If you want just easy to access drawers you can only use 2 of the 72mm together. I thought a deep drawer and a slim drawer would work together... they won’t. I’m definitely adding two L racks with two more 72mm drawers and the dolly wheels. It does get heavy fully loaded. (FYI there is lots of real estate for stickers on the 3D BOXX too! 😉)

Becoming my "go to" l-boxx the more I use it
This is probably the most versatile l-boxx in the line. The top has similar dimensions to an l-boxx2 and the bottom opening can hold various drawer combinations(i-boxx 53(-12)/72(-10), LST72, and the LST92). I ordered the LST72 drawer and the i-boxx 72 to go inside the bottom and it works great. The bottom can also hold the LST92 deep drawer and the iboxx53 together as well, though I doubt you can fit the LST92 and the LST72/iboxx 72 in at the same time. The LST92 seems to be an exclusive to the 3d l-boxx so I don't think it will fit in the newly released l-rack system. The drawer slides have a very deep detent to them so I can't see them opening up accidently unless the enitire unit itself was upended or knocked over on its front. Seen some complaints about them not being lockable from theft, but really, they're plastic boxes so if someone was determined to steal they could just take them anyway. If theft is a major issure for you, then you are looking at the wrong product. This product is about productivity and function over anything else.Overall, a great starting point if you're apprehensive about taking the dive into the L-boxx line.

This is great. If you have to get one box get ...
This is great. If you have to get one box get this one and a LST-72 so it will interchange with the LRack if you add another Sortimo box. My tool life was a complete disorganized mess. In Milk crates , tool box, soft bag, cardboard boxes, etc. so the Lboxx 3d has allowed me to reorganize and consolidate. No more milk crate for the Milwaukee sawzall and cardboard box for the other tools. I still use my sears craftsman 16" toolbox got my wrenches, sets of sockets, pliers, screwdrivers and ratchets. The weight of the small 16" toolbox is about 25 lbs. So if you load up the lboxx-3d with the above and power tools then things get heavy. And defeats the purpose, I like keeping things light for comfort and accessiblty. I can now comfortably work out if my Prius hatchback for 90% of small jobs that don't require hauling sheet goods or large quantity of materials. The amount of gas I save on driving my Prius over the Ford F-150 paid for the lboxx3d in less than a month and saved my sanity. On a side note I have a nylon handled rigid handyman's tool bag (home de-pooh) with a swing up handle I still use. I put in my demo tools in that. Wonder bars, hammer, tape measure, punch, three Lenox utility knives pack of 50 blades, sawzall blades and other miscellaneous, hand tools that would be too hard to rifle through in a pull out tray like the LST72 or 92. I like being able to see the items in plane view where they live in separate pouches.

Great tool box
This is a new box from Bosch. I used to pack a tool bag when I had to go "help" the family out. This is a great way to customize what I need to bring for the job at hand. The drawer and parts bins (sold separately) keep everything organized and easy to get to. The L-Boxx system makes transporting all my tool easy.
