Nail Art Sourcebook: Over 500 Designs for Fingertip Fashions

This is super source book of 500 nail art designs sorted into various catagories like glitter & rhinestones, romantic, animal print, geometric etc.Whilst this is a SOURCE book of designs its is not a GUIDE book as to how to reproduce them! It seems some reviewers have had confusion over this. It does not profess to be a guide book and therefore does its job.The photos are clear and vibrant and the range of designs is excellent. The book is of a good, sturdy construction being hardbacked and a woven binding. Essential as it is a book that will see a lot of use and be well thumbed over time.All in all this is a terrific book for its price. Many proffessional books can be VERY expensive. Its a book I will be coming back to time and again to spark the imagination!

I would say that half of the ideas in this book are interesting and mini mastrpieces in their own right. The other half are variations on a theme... same colour schemes and techniques but differing layouts, somewhat less inspiring! Two shades of pink/purple with one of ivory in bands or blobs or etc with glitter bands at the joins... over and over again.Although there is some text which contains explanations of techniques it just doesn't go into any detail at all so you end up having to look for fuller instructions on YouTube.Lovely photography and some cool ideas save the day but to me this book carries a lot of padding.

Bought as a Xmas gift for a young friend who has ambitions to train as a nail technician. You won't blieve the stunning - and they really are - simply incredible designs on the pages of this book. There are teddy bears, nautical designs, Santa is there, flowers, pearls you name it, they've thought of it. As someone who just paints on plain old nail varnish when I remember, this certainly opened up my eyes and I certainly notice the myriad of adornments on ladies nails now when I'm out and about. If your son or daughter, or grandchild is thinking of entering the world of beauty training and creating nails etc., then this would make an extremely useful, eye-opening and practical present for them.

I love this book so much!! It includes lots of pictures and tips 249 pages of it!It even includes nail business names one page for the UK and a other one for the USA. I would really recommend this book to anyone that is staring a nail business or just to try out! I took these photos myself on my webcam so they are not the best but they do thee job.Enjoy!

If your into nail art in a big way and have a great nail kit and you know how to apply rhinestones,nail tape and jewels,then this a book for you!! It has 500 nail designs for the experienced nail technician or nail art fan but it does not show you how to do it. If you are new to nail art this book is not for you! I'm loving my great nails and mad designs and the compliments are a plenty! x

Some great photos and ideas but I thought the book would show you step by step how to create the nail art. Instead it is a source book of created looks. The images are lovely and it is well created though just not what I was after.

I gave this 3/5 because the nail art book is great however, its a shame that they dont tell you how to achieve these on your own nails as the designs in them are really high quality and are ok great all together. This book would be great for someone that is learning to create designs for acrylics or glue on nails.
