Ginger tea not nearly as good as the sweet cinnamon spice tea (
The ginger tea is a poor second to Newmann's sweet cinnamon spice tea, which everyone loves.

Newman’s Own Organic Turmeric Ginger Herbal Tea
Newman Turmeric Ginger Tea in my opinion I like this one better than the same one that Lipton makes of the same flavor

Newmans own sweet cinnamon spice tea
This tea is exactly how it is portrayed. Sweet and cinnamon tasting. Delicious! Down side is that there are only 20 to a box.

Happy wife
Only 4 stars because of price and I'm generally not a fan of alot if what Newman's Own supports. Harney and Sons Cinnamon Spice is a really good value though caffeinated.

Excellent Tasty Tea, Too Much Packaging
This is a really good tea, a quality product. I drink a lot of ginger blend teas. I'm always on the search for the best and/or most interesting flavor. I especially like ginger turmeric blends, which this is, with a rather subtle hint of orange citrus. If I were just rating the tea, including the bag, I would give this five stars. The tea is excellent. And I love Newman's charitable giving model. But having each teabag individually wrapped in aluminized plastic seems so wasteful. If one only drinks such teas occasionally, well that type of packaging will keep it fresh. But as someone who drinks this tea daily or more often, its just bad stuff for the trash that will take a long time to breakdown in the dump. Newman's Organics, You can do better for the environment, which I know you care about.

Almost perfect but needs a little help! Try it out
I have tried number of turmeric and ginger teas and am overall a big fan of them! The idea of soaking dried leaves/herbs in hot water and then drinking it has lead me to look for an organic tea since the possibility of drinking pesticides does not really appeal to me. This does usually come with a price increase and if you drink tea daily this can be a big factor in picking the right tea for you. I found this tea to be very reasonable and even priced lower than similar conventional non-organic teas. Plus 100% of Newman's own profits going to charity make it an even better choice! The taste of the tea is good overall but it is a little weak in my opinion. Other than taste I also enjoy drinking turmeric and ginger tea for it's stomach soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. There are quite a few other possible health benefits (if you care to look into them) mostly coming from the interaction between the black pepper and turmeric. There is definitely lots of turmeric in the tea which is obvious from the color but I feel like the pepper is lacking. Here comes the solution so stick with me! 😉Crack some black pepper into your tea! Start with a little but I have found that adding quite a bit really improves the taste and gives it the "spicy" taste that I enjoy in most ginger tea. This will also add more piperine from the black pepper to help bioavailability of the curcumin which provides the desired health benefits! Only downside is having bits of pepper in the bottom of the cup which you could filter out if it bothers you. If you can get over how weird it feels to crack pepper into your tea like you are preparing a steak I have found this to be a large improvement to this tea.

Bags defective
The tea itself tastes great but all the bags are defective and I end up with a mouthful of cinnamon bits. It’s very frustrating!
