I had another one before. It had a leak through top always. But this one has a better plastic, tops, extra valve, seal and top. Feature to wash inside. Shape of canister thinner and fit to more places inside my truck cab. Definitely recommend!

Meets my needs. I did a DIY van conversion. I use this as my clean water reservoir. It sits where the bottom is the other side of the spout and opening(2nd pic at website) -- as opposed to its side(as 1st pic on the website). Because of this, I cannot say whether the spigot leaks: instead spigot works for my use cuz I can snake in a 1/4" vinyl tubing where I pump out the water when I need it.Love the huge opening -- makes pouring water a breeze, as well cleaning the container.Also very important to me: container is translucent enough that I can see the water level.

I bought two of these six months ago and use them weekly for an event. They get put in a vehicle, filled up at a spring, unloaded full, set up at a table during and event, then packed up, emptied, rinse and repeat the next week.So far they have performed well. No leaks, easy to fill, mostly sturdy, although the tiny air valve vent cap is poorly designed and broke almost instantly on one these- it's a very small push on plastic piece. I would have liked to see this as a screw on. The container comes with two of these air vents, so clearly they know that you will love/break them.These are a huge improvement over the standard 5 gallon water dispenser jugs, as they are easier to transport without tipping due to the shape. i like having the handles on both sides, but don't think it's a necessity. The spigot is sturdy and hasn't leaked on either of them.

I have used this on several camping trips and it has held up well to the harsh environments in which I travel. It is a good size- not too big and not too small. It holds enough water for handwashing, drinking, and cooking for a weekend trip.

This is one of those moments when you finally give in and pay the extra $$ for the product that is finally going to actually get the job done. I have purchased so many cheaper, smaller water jugs that were poorly designed and/or cracked after one use. If I had just bought this jug from the get-go, I would have actually saved myself not only money but hassle! This jug is sturdy. This jug has a little air vent so the water continues to keep coming out smoothly. This jug has a large opening making filling easy. This jug has a large dial for pouring water and it comes with an additional spout if you’re filling water bottles and want to reduce the potential of a spill. 10/10 across the board. My only critiques are superficial: it’s not the most beautiful jug and it’s pushing the limits of what I can comfortably carry (it’s nearly 5 gallons), but for the increased functionality it’s worth it (and I needed to get stronger anyway!) Stop shopping, this is the water jug you’re looking for.

This jug seals tight for traveling. It's easy to attach the spigot adapter once you've arrived. The air vent (attached) let's the water flow freely. You can adjust from a small amount of water to rinse something or a large flow to fill a pot.So far very happy with the purchase.

Bought this to use as a hand wash station while camping and it fits the bill perfectly! Really like the twist style faucet.

By adding a standard hose spigot to this container I can water our raised bed garden with a soaker hose at the back of our high desert lot. This may allow us to have an efficiently watered garden during our continuing drought: I just need to lug 18.5 L of water up the hill once or twice a week. Gravity does the rest. I tested the first container / spigot / hose Wednesday and ordered a second one for the other raised bed the next day. The container and spigot came "over night" from different vendors.The container's walls are thick, and the large opening is big enough for me to get my XXL hand in to snug up the nut on the spigot with a 1" socket and ratchet. The spigot that comes with it doesn't attach to a sgarden hose.

This water jug is very nice and works well. Seems very pricy for what it is

Image and Product Dimensions state: 15.7x 6.7x 12.6in (40x17x32cm).However once received, the label states 41x33x18cm.I believe it actually it might be taller then that, but regardless this discrepancy means it too big to fit the necessary space (a cabinet). It will have to be returned.

It is defective from manufacturer, quality control is poor..

Description says it is 32cm tall, but it's actually 34cm at the highest point. Could not fit in my van build project.

the spout tends to leak if not tightened a lot
