I Can't beleive the sound that comes out of these things ! When you hook them up correctly.
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I read all of the reviews and thought why not , I just wanted atmos, and I got a great deal on a pioneer. Vsx- lx 505 for $640.00 But had a budget of $1500 i got 4 =6" mica wall speakers and 2 = 6" micca overhead ceiling speakers paired with my Sony bookshelf speakers , center and sub , I'm very ocd about instalation so I dont like wires all over the place so I did the install on these in wall.and in ceiling speakers , when I hooked the first ones up and just did a basic sound tests to see if they worked , they sounded terrible, it was due to the large spaces in between the wall studs and ceiling joists , so I fabricated some boxes for the in ceiling speakers and fastened them to the joists in the attic and sealed up the boxes completely with silicone caulk , (no air gaps) then I went to the wall speakers and boxed in and sealed all 4 wall speakers in between the studs and sealed all around the inside of the boxes with caulk , (they do make prefabricated boxes but I like to save money and I had alot of extra wood lying around so if you want to save time but not money get the boxes ,you need to contain the speakers !) , anyways after calibration of the receiver which is necessary for setup of atmos or any real surround, I can tell you that these budget speakers gave me goosebumps ,every since I heard atmos for the first time ,I fell in love with the sound , and if you install these speakers correctly they will blow your mind ! After I finnished installing everything and listening to these ,the hairs on the back of my head and arms were standing , I asked my son to come out and listen to the clarity and deep concentration on individual sounds while watching top gun maverick ,his eyes were bugging out of his head , the part where all of the tomahawk missiles fly over the planes to intersept the targets , anyways it was like you were there , it sounded better than the theater ! So to sum it up , Cons = they feel and look cheap on the inside but are not . On the outside they look amazing. You may have to adjust the mounting screws delicately because they could strip if you dont take your time and tighten them to much , They do vibrate alittle but easily remedied with rubber isolation tape that is included in the box In order to hook them up properly you will have to either box in the holes you cut out for the speakers with wood studs or with the expensive prefabricated boxes that can cost more that the speakers themselves . Wich you would have to do with any brand or model of In wall speaker. Over all these speakers are absolutely amazing for the price and sound amazing. At this point I see no reason to ever "upgrade to a name brand " speaker After adjusting the vibration issues with the mounting of the wall speakers i cranked up the speakers all the way , with no distortion until I hit 90 percent on my receiver But it's probably because I have 120 watts going to a 100 watt speaker , hope this review helped someone out there .enjoy . Ease of use: Super easy install / once i got them boxed in Connectivity: Simple push type Performance: wow! Size: 6" Range: 50hz-20 khz at 100 watts each Distortion: Just a little over 90 percent volume after acurate install and adjustments

Very Impressive Sound
I trained in college as a theatrical sound designer. That's not my current job anymore, but I do have more experience with sound systems than most. I also try not to be one of THOSE audiophiles... (you know the kind that says they can hear a difference even when they can't.) I bought these speakers to be a part of my new home theater I was building. I wanted in-walls that I wouldn't want to replace soon. My budget was tight, so I certainly couldn't go with Polk Audio or one of the more expensive brands. I found these and looked around at reviews and what others were saying and decided to take the plunge and, boy, am I glad I did! I really don't think there's an equal quality speaker at this price range. The low-end is full and not muddy and the high-end is crisp and clean. They installed easily and painted with spray paint even easier with the included paint shield. They look really nice inside and out. The designers clearly took pride in this speaker and I would too. I highly recommend these as great quality speakers for the price. Buy them up now, because if this quality continues, this brand is going to get expensive.

These speakers produce impressive sound at a fantastic price!
By no means do I have the discernment (or budget) to need audiophile-quality speakers so, given the price and all of the positive reviews, I was confident these speakers would be a great buy for my family media room. I purchased two of these for the front as well as the M-CS Dual 5.25" for the center and two M-6C 6.5" speakers for the rear. Have not added a subwoofer yet but the sound from these 5 speakers from my $250 Sony receiver is so nice. From packaging to build quality nothing about these speakers says "cheap". They're hefty and the plastic frames do not feel fragile. The components appear neatly constructed and organized. As others have pointed out, you should definitely screw each of the fasteners down once before install. Once you do this, they tighten down easily thereafter. I have painted the frames on the front and center speakers with the same paint we used on the wall and did not need a primer. The included paint shield was a big help here. I will attempt to paint the grills with a Preval sprayer so that we can use the same wall paint for a perfect match. The wall in which these speakers are installed is externally facing and so I had to remove just a bit of insulation behind, above, and below each speaker to create a sound cavity. Also, the attic is above the room so I used OEM Systems ISF-147 Ceiling Speaker Protective Covers (purchased on Amazon) for the rear speakers. Be sure to plan your wall/ceiling cut-outs carefully. Once you're confident of placement, the included templates work perfectly for drawing your cut line. Now, I've only had these installed for three weeks but couldn't be happier with the results. Proper planning and patience has yielded a very professional sounding and looking installation!

You won't shake the house with bass but they do sound good for background music and non-critical listening.
My previous ceiling speaker cones had completely disintegrated over time. With the woofer material gone I was essentially hearing only the tweeter. After installing the new speakers it's a big improvement. I installed pairs in 3 rooms in my house and the sound if full and has decent fidelity. I'm a professional musician and recording engineer so I won't say they are the best speakers I've ever heard but the are priced right and sound good. You are not going to shake the house with bass but they sound good for non-critical listening. Installation takes a bit to get use to. It's simple but make sure there are no studs that butt up against the opening. Otherwise the spreaders won't be able to open properly to secure the speaker correctly. Also the cutout template was slightly small. Cut a little wider to avoid having to cut a second time.

Top notch! Great dynamics and solid bass output. Tremendous value.
These speakers are surprisingly deceptive. In an excellent way! They provide top notch sound and are crisp and clear despite their price point. The depth required to mount them (less than about 5inches) is also fairly shallow which makes them ideal for working around in wall obstacles. The template provided for mounting them is also well designed and easy to use. Be careful to allow for the necessary clearance around the mounting hole as the mechanism to secure them in the wall is excellent but inflexible. These will make for a great in wall home theatre setup paired with the matching centre speaker and a subwoofer. Just grab a decent powered home theatre receiver and you're good to go. Music sounds just as good. Best kept secret in this category.

They're made for in-wall but I placed them in-ceiling
I'm a audiophile that tries to get the best audio equipment my budget can afford to buy. I spent a couple of months comparing these Micca speakers with those from JBL and Yamaha. Reviews after reviews and lastly I decided to buy these 6-inch in-wall Micca speakers to place them at my leaving and dinning ceiling rooms, two each room. The main reason, primarily, was budget: way different price comparing four of these with four from JBL or Yamaha. The second reason, the good reviews from buyers and from professional websites. The risk and time were well taken. The old speakers had more than 15 years old and only supported 4 watts. The difference with the old ones is hugue obviously (4w vs 80w), but when I listen and compare them with the JBL speakers system I have in my entertaining room, being powered by a Denon receiver, I know I chose well. They're very easy to install. I'm a DIY-man and took me less than an hour to install the four of them. They're powered by two of the 7.2 channel Denon receiver I have at home. The highs and mids are pristine but do not expect deep bass, even though because where I strategically placed them, they sound great. And all at a price less than 50% of JBL's and 30% of Yamaha's with similar specs. No regrets at all.

Needs high wattage to perform well
There was no mention of wattage, I find the speakers to be power hungry and requiring higher wattage to perform well. With a standard home audio head unit, they can be turned all the way up and yet they arenโt very loud/dynamic with 80 watts.

Great Speakers!
At $30 a pop its really hard to go wrong here. They are heavy duty, each weighs 5-6lbs as described. I don't have a receiver yet but hooked it up to an old stereo and cranked it. You aren't going to get much base with this system. I guess that's why you need a sub-woofer. I'm looking into the Polk 12" woofer now and Denon 7.1 receiver. I still need 3 more and looking to buy another set. As long as you have a good set up with solid signal and good cables you can't pass up these speakers. I gave it 5 stars because I am not a big audiofile, so i can't say if these are better than other speakers out there. I'm sure there are better speakers on the market, just not at this price. But again, the sound is good, just no bass. I will mention i used 14 gauge RCA brand wire with gang plate and banana connectors for easy connections. The speakers were packed very well and look great on my walls :)

Good and best for price for 80wats
I have bose headphones q35, and logitech z906 . This is my sound life companions. i choose these for dolby atmos roof speakers not for movie, only sound effects. These sounds as good as my logitech z906. At this price range you wont get 80w speakers with tweeters.

Good sound
I like this better compare to pyle 6.5 inch 150 watts but the cost is twice. You can hear the difference on the quality of sound. The cost is not that much compare to klipsch, polk audio etc. And this sounds like one of those. Good enough for home theatre setup I'm currently using denon avr s750h and I have no complain at all.

Price rising steadily for this product but the quality is good
The speaker is of very high quality and sounds beautiful. I am using it with custom made wooden enclosure embedded into walls and they sound beautiful. The price have gone up quite a bit over time though.
