I do a lot of shooting long distance with my high end PCP air rifles and you really need to know the wind speed and direction or the wind can blow your shot off target pretty quick if you don't compensate for it. Even a 5 mph wind can blow off a bullet a foot or more at medium ranges. With this Anemometer I can now calculate cross drift or even point of aim drop at any distance. This is also a good tool while I fly my Mavic Pro drone, sometimes the wind is a little stronger than you think and you shouldn't fly under certain wind conditions or you could lose your drone if it gets blown off coarse or it could come down and damage property or hurt someone, so this is a great tool for safety and control.This is a really nice tool for just about any sport from hunting, fishing to golfing.
