Product Description A set of three separate A2 educational posters comprise this offer; designed and created by British artist Catherine Pain (b.1963). A lower case or 'little' letters English alphabet poster, an upper case alphabet poster and a numbers poster (with the numbers 1 to 12) come as a set of three in one gorgeous bundle. The posters are A2 sized (420 × 594 mm) and printed on 135 gsm silk finish paper. The lower case letters are shown separately as they are often taught before the capital letters in schools. The alphabets were carefully designed to help children learn the alphabet phonetically. The objects chosen to depict the vowels (a, e, I, o, u) begin with 'short' sounds e.g. 'I' as in 'insect' and 'igloo'. The consonants were largely chosen for the same reason; we have 'd' as in 'dog' and 't' as in 'tractor'. The numbers poster shows the numbers 1 to 12. It contains just about every element a child needs to help them to learn their numbers as well as the words for each number. This is important as it links in with literacy to help reading skills. Catherine designed the posters after years of working in schools and seeing what helps children learn. She took great care in working out how to best illustrate each letter, and tried to choose things that would appeal to boys as well as girls. Posters are a simple and fun way to help your child learn letters and numbers through play. This set of posters is a great buy! My 2 year old daughter loves them and, as well as being fun they are educational. They teach, not only numbers, but lower case and capital letters. In addition each set of letters has a different thing associated with it - for example "O is for Octopus" and "O is for Orange."In addition to this, the supplier, Catherine, was very courteous and even sent a follow up letter to see if I was happy with the product. I was. Very happy.I cannot recommend these posters enough.

I am a registered childminder and i wanted something that i could put up for the children to see at all times and not have to put away,,,throughout the day i can randomly go through the alphabet or counting with them,,,its amazing how quickly the children can pick up and remember letters and numbers,,,,the posters are great quality and size,,,they arrived very quickly and were exceptionally well wrapped for postage,,,,would definitely recommend these products

Exceptional delivery, I ordered and they arrived the next day. Really beautiful and clear illustrations that both my boys love looking at. My only negative is that they seem very delicate for little fingers so would have been better laminated. Other than that a lovely, learning aid that looks good on my boys bedroom wall!

Very beautifull and eye catching posters.

Beautifully Illustrated
Looked for ages to find an alphabet poster that I wouldn't mind having on the walls on house - most of the educational posters are pretty damn ugly! These posters have been beautifully illustrated and I like the fact that you can teach upper and lower case letters separately.
