Half sizes ARE included - best hooks on the market
I was almost deterred from buying these crochet hooks because other reviewers complained that there were no 3.5mm or other half sizes included. However, I happened to see a clear picture of this set elsewhere and saw that a 3.5mm did appear to be in the set, therefore I took a chance and ordered them. Now they have arrived I can report that the following sizes are included in the set I purchased direct from Amazon: 2.00mm 2.20mm 2.50mm 3.00mm 3.50mm 4.00mm 4.50mm 5.00mm 5.50mm 6.00mm I am an avid crocheter and have tried many, many hooks. I have drawers full of them, and have previously tried all the major brands I could think of. Prior to purchasing this set, I considered Hiyahiya aluminium hooks to have the best head, whereas the Knitpro Waves have the best grip. I do not get on with Addi Swing at all, and Clover Armour are a close second to Knitpro. I don't find Knitpro Symfonie very easy to use and I haven't found a single wooden hook I have liked. Until now I have been unable to find a hook that combines a perfect hook head with a comfortable grip. But at last, my search is over. These hooks are perfect. Simply perfect. The hook head is exactly right, the grip is just right, whether you are a 'pencil' or 'knife holder (I interchange to prevent RSI and although I crochet almost all day, I never have any pain or strain as I frequently change my grip - I would recommend this practice to all serious crocheters). Whoever designed these hooks really did their homework. Yes, at around £100 they are expensive, although they are well presented in a very sturdy and pretty case, and come with a mini set of scissors and a couple of yarn needles so you do get some extras for your money. But for me, the sheer quality of the hooks themselves makes the expense justified. For these reasons, I cannot recommend these hooks highly enough. (Just as a final note, judging by other reviews, I believe there may be some counterfeits being sold. The ones I received have a small encircled R under the word Tulip, and the grips are perfectly smooth and not sticky.) Best ever Crochet Hooks 💝
Wow 💗 these are the best hooks out there. They are the king and queen of crochet hooks. I’ve all the brands, others are fantastic too, some not so, but Tulip Etimo are the best, smooth like butter through yarn, gliding beautifully. Comfortable to hold, I crochet for hours. I design crochet 🧶 patterns and these are amazing. Small note, I had to buy the 6.5mm separately, that’s ok, you may not need it, but I purchased it and slipped it in the pink case. The scissors are nice and sharp and small too. The pink carry case and pink handles are so pretty makes it even more special. I take the case everywhere, fits in my handbag, crochet bag, flight bag. Yes I take them abroad. Second note: the hooks go up in .5mm sizes so there are not any 2.25mm or 2.75mm or 3.35mm they are 3mm 3.5 4mm etc etc. but the hook sizes in this wallet are more than enough for most crochet projects. Because I love tulip Etimo I went on and bought the complete red tulip Etimo as well as they contain the .25 and .75 hooks i.e 2.25 2.75 3.25. and I got to have two complete Etimo Hook Sets in red and pink. By the way, the price is absolutely worth it, don’t be fazed, you are getting what you pay for they are worth every single penny. If you’re a beginner crocheter or even advanced and you’ve been using cheap hooks, you will jump for joy using these 💝💝💝💝💝

Smooth as butter
I have been longing for this set for over a year. I have a full set of grey and gold Tulips but loved the look of this set. They really do live up to the hype. They glide beautifully through the yarns i use. Are comfortable in my arthritic hands and i just love them. The scissors are Italian made. Very sharp and easy to handle. The scissors come in a little pouch to match the case. There is an attached pouch to hold the scissors and sewing needles, I have added my own pink stitch markers to. This pouch and its zipper are of good quality too. The tassle is cute but I suspect by Christmas it will look as if I have dragged it through a hedge. I have attached pics and as you can see my daughter has me making this viral Taylor Swift dress. My new hooks are working well with this. It’s a super set and handy to keep my hooks etc together. Would I recommend this? Heck yes. Top quality tools for crafting with. If you are crocheting a lot then these are the hooks for you.

These are a must if you crochet regularly
I have crocheted for over 2 years and quickly picked it and loved it from day one! I used to use cheap Amazon hooks and I was starting to get sore wrist and I wondered about different hooks. I first purchased clover ones which I honestly love and would recommend but then I heard the hype about tulip and the slightly thinner head they hand. A few things to note about these hooks. / The shaft is second to non in my opinion, they glide through the coarsest of yarns even cotton! I guarantee if you try one of these hooks you will struggle to use any other ( bar clover as I interchange them depending on project) /grip this is my only issue I have with these hooks and it's because at the bottom of the backside the tulip branding is embossed and it rubs against your pinky finger especially if you have a knife hold or something similar. It can cause blisters! (I wrap a water proof plaster around them and it stops this) I feel the functionality of the shaft outways the grievance in the handle! It's very soft and smooth to use especially the thumb rest bit and I find it works just as well with either pencil or knife hold! /length. They are a shorter hook in over all length but the length between tip and handle is good especially if you need more loops on the hook! I love these for small tight stiches as I feel you get a much tighter neater stitch than say clover or knit pro. In all I love them. I use them daily for many types of projects and crochet items the case with sissors and needles are exceptional and these items are to the same quality standards of the hooks. They seem expensive but for quality, ease of use and minimising wrist pain they are so so worth it and I'm thankful I have a set.! I've added some pictures of items I've crocheted with them to show the stitch definition and the variation of yarns and these hooks have been amazing for all of them!

The Royal Royce of crochet Hooks
Yes, these Japanese made crochet hooks are expensive. But by gum they are wonderful to use. Donot get me wrong I also have a Clover set and they are good. I would give Clover 9/10. They are comfortable to use, my only complaint with Clover is the crochet size #no on hook is really small to see, but they are mixed colours. bUT Tulip 10/10+++. I initially bought the smaller sets last year, but carried on using my Clover set. Then I decided to use the try the Grey Royal Gold? Set. They are spectacular. Having arthritic fingers and thumb. The ergonomic hooks were great for my hand. They fit snuggly into the palm. Being so impressed with the Grey I gave in to how expensive the Rose crochet hooks are and ordered them. Having done a goggle search in prices. They do” not disappoint. I love the grey set. I can read more easily the crochet hook size. Because I am female, just had to have the Rose set. The handles look plasticky, but has a rubber feel. They are in my opinion very easy to hold and extremely comfortable. The hook glides like a knife thru melted butter with the wool. If I had not tried these my self I would not have believed how excellent they are, even with the good feedback. After all they are just crochet hooks, you can’t get excited by crochet hooks can you? Wrong. I was like a little excited schoolgirl waiting for these hooks to arrive. Again in my opinion Tulip make the Royal Royce of crochet hooks. Sorry to Clover, but Clover are cheaper in comparison to these hooks. If you can afford Tulip crochet hooks, then buy. I also love the wallet that holds the hooks. I love the case with embossed little circles or roses. Not made from leather. I love the little tazzle and bead. Inside are the Italian made scissors, Tulip hooks and tapestry needle. Everything else was made in China abd Taiwan. Which made me laugh. The hooks are expertly made which is the main thing in Japan. Love the whole set. So pleased I have spent a fortune on these crochet hooks!

Brilliant if expensive!
As an avid crocheter for many, many years, it feels like I have tried most of the hooks out there! :D My favourites for a long time have been Yarn & Color, but since Brexit I refuse to pay much more for the P&P than the hooks themselves, (as they are based on the Netherlands I believe) plus, the ‘rubber’ material they use to coat the handle of their hooks flakes away after prolonged use and the extra stitch marker on the top of the hook, although very useful, often gets caught in the yarn you’re trying to crochet with, despite how smooth they are to use. I’ve wanted to get a set of Tulip hooks for a very long time, and finally decided to use some hard earned savings - and I like that I can pay for them monthly. So Pro’s and Con’s: Pro’s: - excellent ergonomic shape of the handle, sits comfortably in my hand and feels light to use. - glides through the yarn like a knife through soft butter! - this pack came with a matching pair of very sharp scissors and 2 darning needles, which is a nice touch in the little added zippered case (the little tin you can see in my pictures is my own with stitch markers in it and fits lovely in the case, not making it too bulky) Con’s: - the price!! I don’t mind paying a higher price for a good quality product that will last (you hope!!) forever, it’s an investment for sure, but I still think this case of Tulip hooks are incredibly expensive, and even at half the price would still be an expensive item. I appreciate that if people keep buying them at this price, it will hardly bring the cost down, hence why I’ve taken the option to pay for them over time as I’ve had them on my wish list for such a long time. Highly recommend them, and check to make sure they are the real deal and not a fake - they will have the trademark ‘Tulip’ written where the number size of the hook is with an R in a circle, and the word ‘Tulip’ will be embossed in raised writing on the other side, and they will feel smooth on the handle, not ‘sticky’ like a fellow commenter mentioned. Happy hooking fellow crocheters! :)

quality crochet hooks which are so pretty to look at
Tulip Ter 001E ETIMO Rose Crochet Hook Set is for me and my hands the perfect crochet hooks. I love the feel and fit of them and the fact they are so comfortable to hold makes them the perfect crochet hook. I love the fact they are so well manufactured with as the manufacturer describes it as "Japanese Precision" and that is evident as the wool glides off and on the hook, with no splitting of the wool. The price for these hooks are worth it if you like to crochet a lot and you like your stitches to be a perfect size. I have found because of the comfortable handle I am able to hold the wool at the correct tension as well as helping me crochet even, tidy stitches. A considered purchase which for me was well worth the price as the hooks are so comfortable to use daily. I love the pink case which holds the hooks in tidy numerical order as well as the smart scissors and ruler which are also made to the same quality and precision as the actual crochet hooks. Happy to recommend.

Gorgeous little set of hooks
What an adorable little set. The crochet hooks are smooth and a joy to work with. The addition of scissors and needle means I don’t have to carry them separately. The case is good quality and a handy size to put into my handbag.

Well worth the money.
Superior to anything else in the crochethook world. I started out with knitpro and then changed to clover amour but now they both seem like second chooses next to these wonderful hooks. I just simply love them and they slide so soft trough the yarn and makes my crocheting so much faster and simpler. I’m hooked! ;)

Perfectos

Crochet like a pro!
