I was surprised to read only a few reviews on these petite jars. For the value, these jars are perfect. The jars arrived properly pckg'd and in perfect condition. The mouth of the jar is 1-3/16" wide with well defined threads. The jars came with plastisol lined lids for an airtight seal and tighten securely with 1/4 turn; enough for these petite jars. These jars are classified as 1.5-oz jars because they will comfortably hold up to 2-3 TBLS of product by volume... NOT 1.5oz of product by weight, so purchase wisely. There is a raised number on the bottom of the jar, so keep this in mind in case you plan on affixing any sort of label to the bottom.The reason for rating these jars only 4 instead of 5 stars is because the lids are a bit temperamental. You sometimes have to keep adjusting / re-positioning the lid on the jar until you find the SWEET SPOT before it can be securely tightened. I would try different lids until I found the lid that fit best. Overall, I'm very pleased, and for the cost of a little over $0.66 per jar, makes these petite jars a great value!I hope you found this review helpful :0)Lori

Bought five sets of jars for our wedding to fill with M&Ms. They're the perfect size for favors as they fit 25 M&Ms very comfortably and you could probably squeeze 35-40 in here if you really tried (exactly 25 are in the photo).Read a few reviews that talked about cracked jars, but we were a perfect 150/150. All came in perfect condition and the lids screwed on snug. Because it's a small jar, it's not a very lengthy groove, so I could see if some people had a hard time sealing them.Very happy with the purchase and would definitely buy them again.

I got these for a Family Reunion party favor... I choose to do honey jars because everybody on my moms side of the family has a sweet tooth. It was a big hit! The family loved it. When I first saw them I thought they were plastic. But they were glass and very well made. They all closed perfectly! Once I dressed them up with a little tag , they were the perfect party favor!!

I purchased these for making small homemade candles. The lids don't screw on (I tried multiple lids on multiple jars) which is a bit frustrating--I definitely would not recommend if you're planning to use these for food or liquid storage. It's not a complete deal breaker for my purposes but, it definitely takes away from the clean and polished feel I aim for in all my projects. I'm considering returning but haven't yet decided. Three stars are for the price and secure packaging of the product.

Sadly, I poured all my homemade chile honey into these jars and was preparing them to mail as gifts. They unfortunately open super easily and are not 'airtight' and well sealed once closed. I tightened them as tight as I could but you can't screw these down to have a secure fit. They have been opening on me & spilling honey.

I really like these little jars. I couldn't use them for my intended purpose because the scheduled arrival date kept being pushed back. It was originally scheduled to arrive on the 24th of Oct., then the 25th, then the 26th. It finally did arrive on the 26th. Even though I couldn't use it for the originally intended purpose, I can always use it for other things.

I use these little jars to make my alcohol inks for my jewelry and they are perfect! The lids and glass seal so well no alcohol evaporated even after being in the jars for a week, no smell from them either! I washed them out with no stains and they rinsed quite easily!

I liked the product bcuz it served its purpose for mini favors. Plus they shipped quick. I did have to spruce the jars up a little though as you can see in the pics. I could only fit plain m&m’s but the good thing is it fit more than I expected, more than a small Halloween sz bag. The Glass itself seemed durable and the lid was solid and easy to close and open.
