I recently switched over and became a Switch user but missed the feeling of playing with my playstation 5 controller that I was more comfortable with rather than the joycons. This adapter was such an easy fix to that problem. I had no issues connecting the PS5 controller to my switch using this adapter and since it designed to be plug and play, I didn’t need to download any additional or unnecessary software to use it. The switch gaming system recognizes the control with no issues and had no lag or technical problems of the sorts. It’s super small and lightweight making it portable and easy to fit into my switch case or my backpack when I’m on the go or traveling.

It connects no problem but had lag when trying to game on pc with an Xbox controller.

Works well. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommend

2-3 sec of input lag unless your really really close, then you get alittle bit of input lag. But there's still lag even with a usb extender it's just not usable.

Simply does not work as advertised, I wanted to use my xbox elite controller with my switch but it refused to pair, I also tried to use it to connect the same controller to a PC, still didnt work, tried a regular xbox controller and a ps4 controller as well and nothing worked, total garbage and save your time/money and do not buy.

This adapter has been working well for me. it's nice to be able to have the option to use my other controllers for those times when you're needing a couple extra. The connection to the adapter is usually pretty easy, but I have had some issues initially connecting a couple times. I haven't had any issue with controllers disconnecting so far though. Very pleased.

I hate switching back and forth between my Xbox and Switch consoles because of different button arrangements on the two controllers. This product works! Now, for non-motion sensitive Switch games, I can use my Xbox controller to press the A button on the bottom and the Y button on the top. It appears that even motion tracking games will work with a PS4 or PS5 controller but that only PS4 games are supported on either PlayStation console.The instructions aren’t very clear so here is what worked for me with an Xbox series x controller.1. Go to Settings-Controllers and Sensors on your Switch.2. Click the Pro Controller Wired Communication so it shows On.3. Plug the product into a USB slot on the left side of the Switch.4. Tap the pairing button on the end of the product. It should start blinking.5. Pick up your Xbox controller.6. Press the pairing button on the top of the controller and hold it for at least 3 seconds until the home button on the controller (an X in a circle) starts to blink.7. Once the Xbox controller’ home button stops blinking and is still lit, pairing is complete. You only have to this once.It worked beautifully for me. This adapter is a perfect solution to my problem. However, I took 1 star off for the confusing and excessively tiny instructions.
