Q: Is the neck of the shirt loose or more snug?

It is a normal fit, not loose but not real snug. Very comfortable.

Q: i am 5'7 about 140 pounds and sometimes i wear a medium and sometimes a small..i guess u can say im a smedium. What size do you recommend?

Not sure this will be helpful, but my husband is 6'5" and 225 pounds and usually wears a 2XL...the 2XL in this tee fits him very well (not fitted/tight like some tees can be). So if you like your tees fitted, the small might fit you; if you like a little room for your workouts, the medium might be a good choice.

Q: Does this shirt fit loose or more fitted?

I'm 6'1" 190lbs. A LG fits me perfectly. It's not skin tight nor as loose as the two I bought a couple years ago. It's a good run of shirts.
