Diamonds Everywhere: Awe-inspiring astronomy discoveries

I like to go out at after dark and look up to the night sky. Although this book is aimed at people interested in Astronomy in my opinion it's not necessary to get enjoyment from this book.There are excellent pictures on every other page and I have found that these alone with the headings is enough to make you read the following page to find out the 'story' behind each picture. I have found myself on more that one occasion saying "well I didn't know that".It's not a book that need to be read from front to back, someone could quite easily pick it up, flick through and read any of pages without having read what goes before.

Well written and beautifully illustrated. Riveting from start to finish. If there is one criticism it's that the images would benefit from a descriptive caption.

I brought this as a gift and he absolutely loved it and sings its praises all the time .

Well presented and informative

I got this for my nephew who is fascinated with everything space. The planets, the stars, the solar-system... he loves it, and he absolutely loved this book! It had so much information inside about everything astronomy, and he's learned a good deal of new things about discoveries in space. The hardback is of good quality too, it's of a good size, and I would highly recommend it.

I adored this book. It was very informative and interesting to learn more about the universe and beyond.

This is a clearly written and beautifully illustrated book on 101 key concepts describing the universe.A brief introduction is followed by 101 wide-ranging essays each one taking up a couple of pages and concluding with a useful Glossary of cosmological terms.Tom Kerss’s accessible and inspiring book, ‘Diamonds Everywhere’, deserves to be read by anyone wishing to gain some understanding of our extraordinary universe.

There are a lot of interesting facts that are not widely known.
