Eastanbul Turkish Delight, Turkish Delights Candy Assorted Flavor, 10.5oz

I have been in a very nostalgic mood this holiday season & have been revisiting a lot of old holiday memories & traditions. My Grandmother always had a box of these out for the holidays & I haven't had them in at least 20 years!!! This season I've been introducing my son to a bunch of the old traditions & treats that bring me back to my childhood. These candies came very fast (overnight) the box was in good shape & the plastic tub containing the candy was fully sealed around the perimeter. They remind me of the ones I had while overseas in the Mediterranean during the holiday season of 1992...Which I guess I should have expected since they are authentic & made in Turkey!! The flavors are great & not overpowering or "flowery" like some products, the ingredients are all natural ingredients both the flavorings & color enhancers are natural, so the flavors may seem a bit muted to a Western palate, given that we're raised on chemical fruit flavors & obnoxious quantities of sugar!!! The texture is perfect!! Softer than a standard gummy but firm enough to provide a satisfying chewiness!! I think these will be making an annual appearance in my holiday treats each year now!!!

This was so delicious! In my class we read different books and bring food that relates yo them in some way and I brought this for the loin the witch and the wardrobe and it did not disappoint! I think I have a new favorite dessert!

Would make a nice little gift

Candy I've always enjoyed, but ordered infrequently because too much sugar. This order from same company was good, but taste seemed "off", was disappointing. Didn't prevent me from finishing the whole small box. Will probably hesitate ordering again. I understand these are almost hand-crafted candies, and natural flavorings can change batch to batch, season to season. Still worth trying, if you're curious.

We did not like this product; it was not cut through or in pieces you could pick out, it was tough and difficult to soften in the mouth, you could not even bite through it. These issues made it hard to taste. It was not enjoyable. I would return it if I could. I will not buy again .

Me and wife love this.

I have tried these from different companies. This is no unfortunately bad but there is not much flavor but lots of powder. The pieces are a nice size though.

Yum!

very taste

Bought as a gift, but the recipients made sure to let us know how much they enjoyed this. The variety of flavours was appreciated and they said the texture was much more pleasant than the stuff they're used to.

Tasty
