Solorock Dash Bike
When the delivery person delivered this package and I saw that hole in the carton, I was immediately concerned that my Solorock Dash Folding bike would be damaged but to my surprise is wasn't. This is a well made solid and rigid folding bike that can be easily be folded and unfolded in less that a minute. The Solorock bike comes with 16in wheels and that is the reason that I purchased it was because of the 16in wheels, the look and for the 8 speed gears. This is a very good quality bike for the price considering that this type of quality in a folding bike can be very costly. The chainring and the chainring guard came bent in the box. It appears the whomever placed the chainring and chainring guard protection material on for shipping had tighten the zip tie too tight and it bent the chainring and chainring guard to where the chain would derail in 7th and 8th gear. I was able to repair this by removing both the chainring and chainring guard and reshaping them correctly by using a rubber hammer. After this repair there is no more bike chain derailment on my folding bike. In conclusion, I'm considering purchasing another bike from Solorock in the near future and hopefully the zip tie won't be too tight on both the chainring and chainring guard. I like my Solorock folding bike just as much as I do my Brompton A line folding bike.

High quality folding bike
Very easy to fold & open, fits in back of car nicely. Rides really well for such little wheels. Love the accessories such as back rack & strap. I put a basket & matching lock on it. Great customer service!!!

Great 16" aluminum folding bike
Very light and easy to operate. It was 8-speed. (I had previous bike from Solo Rock which only 3-speed five years. It still works great). The 7 & 8 was easy to slip. Therefore, I called the tech support for help reduce to 6 speeds. It works great.

the worst bike
Rides very hard. I often change cameras. What a marriage in the wheel. It is impossible to return late and sell for half the price.

Great bike; needs a different seatpost for tall riders
I really like this bike! Sturdy, light, easy to fold, and very compact. I've already received quite a few compliments on it, and people often assume it's much more expensive than it is. It's one of the very few folding bicycles that fits (just barely) into the luggage rack on the train.I particularly like that the handlebar post telescopes at a different angle than the seatpost -- for tall riders like myself, it makes it much more comfortable as it stretches your torso out to a more normal length. My only complaint is that the description (both here and on their website) says it fits a rider up to 6'2". It does -- except for the seatpost. I'm 6'1", and the seat in its tallest position is still too short for me. All of the other folding bikes I looked at just have taller riders purchase a telescopic seatpost, so I can't really complain. I just wish I would have known at the time, so that I could have ordered both from the get-go.In a perfect world, I'd opt to pay a little more up front to get just the telescopic seatpost (so that I don't have the other seatpost lying around) -- but SoloRock doesn't make one, so I had to order it from Tern Bicycles. (Any 33.9mm diameter seatpost should work.)Still, I'm very pleased with my purchase and definitely recommend it!

Great. Lighter then expected
I have several bikes from high end carbon race bikes to kids bikes and this one is very good for the purpose it is intended too. The quality is great and the components adequate. I found the handle bar to be too narrow for a men but you can gain 3-4 inches if needed as the handles are solid and can be move outward. This also brings stability on the road and move the knees away from your arms. Very easy to collapse or unfold. Fits well in a car trunk. Overall a very good buy, well priced, so I bought 4 for the whole family.

Great for what it does
I got this because I have a wagon for my canoe and I wanted a bike that I could tow it and also fold and put in the canoe and take with me. I got it in the box and other than a brake and handle bar adjustment, it was easy peasy! I just unfolded it and I was ready to go. Happy with bike feels sturdy enough for what I want to do. Probably wouldn't stand up to a lot of punishment but I have my mountain bike for that. So far I love it!

Literally an amazing bike and I would rave about it
Bike came less than 24h after ordering and was in amazing condition. Everything was adjusted properly and it added quite well to a weekend camping trip.Only gripes are that the high limit screw needed some adjustment, and the rear wheel was quite loud meaning the bearings will need some grease. The highest gear makes the chain rub on the frame a bit as well and the chain needed some oil. All in all small things that can be fixed if you're mechanically inclined and they had to save costs somewhere. As someone who worked at a bike shop I'm honestly impressed with how well spec'd and tuned this thing was for $600. I use it for smaller trips and weekend one's but this could even be used as a daily driver for sure.I'm very excited for the places this bike will take me and the place I can bring it because it's so tiny when folded.
