Meepo V3 versus Meepo Mini – I own both
• Long versus Short - There is more to it with an eSkate. Most people are very likely to have a preference already but hear me out on this… Everything changes with sustained speeds over 20 mph. It gets downright sketchy pushing 30 mph. One must crank the trucks down incredibly tight, or else you will get a death wobble. The severe uncontrollable side-to-side motion at high speed is always going to happen unless (as instructed in huge font on the box) you tighten the trucks to match your weight and riding style.+1 for the Mini - You can turn the board by lifting the front wheels off the ground! With trucks cranked tight, you have now limited your ability to weight shift to turn. It effectively increases the board’s turning radius, which is a bit problematic when trying to make tight corners on sidewalks and such. The longboard V3 does not have a tail that extends past the rear truck. That means you can’t tip the front trucks off of the ground and point the nose in a different direction as one would typically do on a shortboard skateboard.+1 for the longboard V3 – The longer wheelbase on the V3 makes going fast so much more stable compared to the Mini. The V3 is far less twitchy and less prone to getting caught up on rocks and bad pavement at speed. The roominess that comes with length also makes carving the V3 so much easier. They are really long carves because the trucks are cranked down so much, but it’s seriously fun ripping back and forth going 25mph. It feels more stable changing direction at speed to avoid obstacles. It’s just the tight turning that’s difficult on the V3.• Battery life over distance. – I’ve done 10 mile rides on flat surfaces and still had charge left. I also noticed that the battery charges very quickly. I rode 3.5 miles just now to go get lunch, came back, plugged it in, and 14 minutes later, it’s at 100% again.• Build quality – Heavy and well built. This isn’t built like a toy. It’s also quite heavy, but there isn’t so much that can be done about that. You don’t notice the weight when you are riding it around.• The hand controller – I like the display, and it’s very intuitive. Sturdy as well as it’s been dropped a few times. KNOW THIS! - - > It’s a throttle, and it only moves about an inch forward and back (for braking). That means there is between zero and 28mph worth of thrust in that inch. DO NOT whisky throttle the thing, especially in the beginning. Move the throttle as slowly as you possibly can until you get the hang of it. This is for all eSkates, not just Meepo. Even experienced skateboarders will end up on their butt the first time unless you tell them to ease into it.• The Box – The box itself is worthy. I’ve kept it and usually store my board in it. It has a handy handle. I suppose if the cardboard or something wears out, I will use the dimensions and create a more permanent box since the foam insert that cradles the board in the box is super sweet. That foam will last forever, and if you want to travel with your board, you best hold onto it.• The tools – The tools are good, the T-tool is especially nice, but the sockets on it aren’t deep enough. Heavy people, like 200+, will need to crank the trucks down tighter than the T-tool will allow before it bottoms out. You can strip the nuts if you aren’t careful. You won’t be doing this very often, so it’s not a big deal, and it’s worth noting that the truck adjustment nut on the front is a different size than the adjustment nut on the back truck.• Remote battery charging cable – It comes with a cable that may not be obvious what it’s for. This cable is used when the battery is removed (or you have a spare). This adaptor allows you to plug the battery directly into the charger when the battery is not installed on the board.• The charger – Is like any other charger you have ever used. It’s about the same size and length as a typical laptop charger. It’s also very effective at charging batteries quickly. You will notice that it gets a little hot so keep that in mind. Best to keep it well exposed to the open air when charging.• Overall – Buying one of each size has been a terrific experience. I am keeping both. These boards are a hoot, and it’s even more fun when you bring a friend.

Fantastic Board
I love my Meepo V3! The meepo V3 is a great bird at a great bargain price! I have 3 complaints with the board. First the ESC isn’t the most responsive on the market, however I believe they fixed this with the newer V4 board. Secondly the battery life is not the greatest and sometimes going up a hil even with 70% battery it will tell me it’s getting close to being dead when I am on pro mode… it is not getting close to dead when I normally does this and the battery usually has about 30-40% left at this time. Lastly, I’m not a fan of having hub motors as it makes changing out your wheels with something else on the market very difficult. The only upgraded wheels you can get are either the meepo 100mm wheels which I have heard make for a better riding experience, or the cloud wheel donut 120h wheels but those have been out of stock for quite some time now.Besides these issues I truly do love my meepo board. I’ve ridden longboards since I was probably 12 so it wasn’t too difficult to get used to riding the meepo V3. I have done 29 mph comfortably on the board and it has proven to be a very steady board with the red bushings that it comes with. Out of the box some of the nuts are a little loose and will need to be tighten to your preference, but this is easy to do with the included multi tool! All in all if you’re looking to get a VERY good skateboard for under $500 then this is the way to go. Note that other skateboards in the 200-300 dollar range are slow on acceleration, slow in the top speed zone, and the battery life will normal be much worse. With the meepo you can accelerate quickly, hit top speed easily on a flat surface or downhill, go right through grass or fields with ease even on the stock wheels, and so much more!I would highly recommend the Meepo V3 to anyone in the market. It’s great for college campuses and it’s fun to let your friends try to ride! The built in handle is by far the greatest feature and you can even install lights to the bottom if you know a little bit about basic electronics! Overall a fantastic board for the price!

Durable and heavy
Edit: It broke after 7 months. Water got into the port, which corroded the battery. Unfortunately it was a month after the warranty expired so there was nothing the customer service people could do. Then after I got that fixed out of my own pocket, the controller broke and is not working anymore. This board won’t stop having problems/ breaking and is NOT worth 400$. Go with another brand, this brand does not make boards that last.Original post- I bought this to get around campus and it’s great! I’ve had tons of fun riding around and getting to class on time. I also bought a bike lock to lock it outside but I don’t trust the people in my college to not clip the lock. It’s extremely durable, I’ve had it for about a month now and as you can see from the pictures, I haven’t exactly been nice to it. She does have A LOT of scratches, which is annoying, because although I haven’t been nice to it, I haven’t gone banging it around and smashing it against walls. As I got more comfortable with the speed, I ended up riding on the 3rd speed whenever I ride somewhere and the speed is very adjustable. The brakes, the reason I bought this one, did very well. It is very heavy and going up stairs with a 20 pound long board is extremely annoying, but I can handle it. This is an extremely good board and I would extremely recommend it!

Quick and amazing
This skateboard is useful for those in hilly or large college campuses. It has a long battery life with it going out in maybe 2 hours of straight full throttling on its highest speed. It is easy to move around in and it is basically an electric long board. It is not made from plastic but from wood and with plastic protective parts on the end point of the board which makes it sturdy and reliable. It does take some time to get used to but it is very easy to use. I don't recommend going super fast as it can start wobbling if your feet aren't placed in the right place but over time, you will get used to it.Very beautiful, very powerful.
