It will. I had to use an eyepin to string these for bracelets and necklaces. Had no issues.

Q: Will stretch cord fit thru holes?

These pearls show a hole size of .07, so the cord would have to be smaller than .07...like .05.

The hole in the beads is pretty small, diameter around 0.8-1.0mm. Going through silk thread with no problems. Not sure about gold chain, my guess is no.

Q: If these are real freshwater pearls why does it say sterling silver, glass for the material?

They are real pearls. I'm not sure why it says sterling silver or glass unless they use a generic listing title for all of their products. I bought the and they're real.
