Outstanding Magnetic Screwdriver Set
I wear a small tool belt when I'm working high on a ladder, and place a premium on compact and multi-use tools. I have long used an Xcelite CK3 reversible screwdriver set in the belt, because this gives me one handle and all the screwdrivers I normally need. However, recently I have had to work on high light fixtures that had small (and easily dropped/lost) screws holding the reflectors in place, and I realized I really needed a magnetic screwdriver to hold on to the screws while removing and replacing them.Following my normal criterion of wanting the most tool in the least space, this Klein magnetic screwdriver set, with one handle and four interchangeable blades, seemed like just the thing. Thanks to Amazon Prime I had the tool in hand within two days, and was able to put it to use right away. This was exactly what the doctor ordered. The magnet is strong enough to hold screws securely, both sideways and upside down. It's nice to have confidence that a small screw is not going to fall twenty feet and become lost on the asphalt parking lot or in the landscaping. The back of the handle unscrews to reveal a storage area for the unused screw heads. I have successfully changed heads at the top of the ladder, although I worry about dropping them -- there's no magnet holding them in place! It requires paying attention to what you are doing. In sum, while this tool does not replace my trusty Xcelite driver, it is indispensable for times when a magnetic driver is needed. And sometimes I use both this and the Xcelite in tandem -- one with a slotted blade and the other with a Phillips -- when I have to deal with both types of screws and don't want to keep changing bits on a single tool.I am very pleased with the feel and the quality of this Klein set. It has definitely earned a place in my tool pouch.

Great magnetic screwdriver
First, let me start by saying that I was looking for a new magnetic screwdriver, after somehow lost my favorite screwdriver after ten years of regular use. I went everywhere trying to find a good replacement. I saw this one on Amazon, but was wary of buying a screwdriver online without being able to get a feel for it. I went to Lowes, Home Depot, Sears, Ace Hardware, two different Wal-Marts, and Target. Very few of the stores had magnetic screwdrivers with interchangeable heads, and the few screwdrivers that I did find, looked and felt very cheap. I actually bought one from Sears that was almost $15 more than this Klein screwdriver and I was extremely disappointed with it. The magnetic part only held the head in place, but was not strong enough to hold a screw. Basically, making it no more than a regular screwdriver. I returned it, came back to Amazon, and bit the bullet on this Klein screwdriver. I'm glad that I did. This Klein screwdriver is great. It's nice and solid. The weight and balance of it is perfect for me; it has a nice feel in your hand. It's not so light that it feels cheaply made, and it's not so heavy that it feels like a chore to use. The magnetic part is really strong as well; much stronger than my old screwdriver. I've had no problem with it holding in place even the longest and heaviest screws that I used with it. If there was even one negative to point out, I would say it is with the bit storage. My old screwdriver had individual slots for each interchangeable head...this one just has a cavity that they all go into. It's a minor annoyance as the stored heads move around sometimes when using it, but I might just be used to my old one. I just wish I had bought this one to begin with, instead of running all over town to look for a replacement.

This is the most commonly stolen tool in my toolbox
I keep having to buy these, because they keep being stolen from me. So it is a common favorite of many people...I generally prefer fixed blade drivers, but when you are far from the toolbox, having a driver that can be reconfigured with bits stored in the handle is a nice bonus. Unlike some of the cheap ratcheting drivers, this one can hold up to heavier duty use. I have yet to damage one of these.I also have had the Craftsman version of this tool, and they both seem to perform equally well. Klein is generally higher quality than Craftsman, but I can't really see much difference for this particular tool.**UPDATE**I have ordered these in the past and was happy with what I got. However I just ordered two more, and this time I received two Vaco versions of this tool. The Vaco seem to be of nearly the same quality that I was expecting. However the magnet is weaker than the Klein version. I think that instead of a rare-earth magnet, Vaco uses a more ordinary Alnico magnet, so the magnet is weaker, and you are more likely to drop a screw or have the bit come out. I've dinged the seller review on this issue, I won't change the 5 star review of the item, since the Klein is still a good tool, my problem is with the seller.

Good magnetic screw driver
I don't know why but it seems magnetic screw drivers are a bit hard to find.I really like the Klein brand and while I have their standard multi-bit screw driver, I was disappointed to find out that the tips weren't magnetic. I saw this one and ordered it as a backup. The screwdriver is made and packaged by Klein but the brand on the driver itself is Vaco (which Klein owns). It's not quite up to the level of Klein-branded products but it's close. It's still very well made and feels very sturdy. The screwdriver comes with 4 bits. The shaft pulls out of the screwdriver and holds 1 bit on each end. The other 2 bits can be stored in the screw top portion of the screwdriver. If you are looking for a magnetic screwdriver, this is a solid option.

Good American made product
I like the fact that you can change the tip when worn or broken. The magnet that holds the tip in could be stronger. I use it daily at work I purchased it after my company supplied no. 2 broke the tip off. I'm happy with the product

strongest magnetic screwdriver I've found.
No purchasers remorse. Expensive but Philips screws are a pain to hold, this magnet almost holds as well as Robertson screwdrivers.
