I love this blanket, its heavy, very warm and soft. It came with a note, saying it was over sized to alow for shrinkage. It’s like a heavy flannel blanket. Its really nice and warm.Love it..

I ordered cream color in throw size and twin size. I returned the throw size because the photos did not show that it had fringe/tassles on all 4 sides. That was something I did not expect to see when it arrived. So I ended up returning the throw. The twin size is beautiful. It came with a notice that stated that the size is slightly larger to accommodate any shrinkage it endures through washer/dryer process. I did not notice any shrinkage as I placed it in warm washer/dryer. I did clean out my lint collector from dryer, and what came out was a huge cotton ball of fluff! This twin blanket I kept has no odor or scent to it. It is perfect and has a tag that says it's made in Portugal. I am happy. It is super soft and not too thin. It is perfect for winter. The light cream color is beautiful.

We hemmed and hawed about ordering this. We had looked at another more expensive brand also made in Portugal but decided to give this one a try. It is wonderful, incredibly soft. As others; have described, the feeling of the inside of a new sweatshirt before its first wash. The blanket is very well made with significant binding and appears very well stitched. We are a bit concerned how washing and drying will effect the softness of the cotton but we will follow manufacturers guideline and hope for the best. We recently purchased a "cooling" comforter for the warm summer months which we love and will bring this warmer, cozy blanket into play in the Fall. It will undoubtedly be our 3 season blanket. While we are enjoying the cooling blanket, we look forward to the colder weather to give this so soft cotton blanket a spin. Great blanket, would strongly recomment.

I had a Queen size one of these for many years and needed King size for a new bed. They are heavy weight cotton, not like a summer weight blanket, which is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect for a midwest winter. Comfort Bedding is inconsistent as a supplier but the product is great, be cautious of the fulfillment source. I ordered one a year ago. Comfort bedding notified me that it shipped a week later to allow them to charge me, then contacted me to let me know it was backordered. I gave up after 6 weeks. Fortunately Amazon stood behind it and gave me a refund.

Absolutely the softest, most plush blanket I have ever owned. I have purchased German cotton blankets over the years but this one is even better. Generous in size, so soft and finished beautifully I love this blanket. Took a little extra time to recieve but so worth the wait as it came from Portugal! Great communication with sellers, if you are hesitant don't be as it is difficult to find this kind of quality anywhere!

We used this blanket for my son's bed, he likes a soft blanket. This is very well made and surprisingly soft for cotton. Think the inside of a cotton sweatshirt. It was particularly soft when we first got it, but then it started to pill badly, so we had to wash and dry it. Massive quantities of lint came off in the dryer, I had to take the lint out 3 times during the cycle, totally full. After washing, no more lint. It's still soft, but not quite as soft, just like after you wash a sweatshirt. I would definitely recommend it and it's a very quality product. Worth the money and I expect it to last a long time.

There is a significant difference between long staple cotton and extra long staple cotton (about 3/4 of an inch in fiber length) which makes a BIG difference. That difference is reflected in quality, strength and softness. It is also hand picked, for a reason. Studies show that 89% of products sold as pure Egyptian cotton are not pure at all. Companies now use lesser quality cotton in their weaving and spinning process, then pawn it off as pure Egyptian or Pima cotton. This company refuses to even acknowledge the fact that this item, that is being sold as pure Egyptian cotton, is in fact NOT extra long staple cotton. This is tantamount to false advertisement -that Amazon appears to be allowing.
