I absolutely love this product! It cleans the hair from all the build up and crude. Doesn't strip the hair too much, although I do condition afterwards. My hair feels and looks so much cleaner and healthier.

This is a really great scalp deep cleanser. It's literally a scrub and is thick and gritty. It helps strip your scalp of product buildup and also for those of us prone to scalp acne, it gives a nice deep cleaning for that. You'll get quite a few uses out of the container since you only use it once a week or so. It makes my hair smell good and style well. The product has no added colors and is easy to use- simply scoop out a tbsp or so and work into your scalp, scrub and rinse! That's it!

I've used this product for a few months now, using it no more than once a week. I have small patches of seborrheic dermatitis, so this review isn't for those with just common dandruff.It's very easy to use, and the grit feels so heavenly on my always itchy scalp. I use dry shampoo and Moroccan oil products on my extremely thick wavy hair so the buildup becomes heavy on my scalp very quickly. This scrub strips all of that away and makes my hair feel light and scalp deep cleaned better than just shampoo. But it doesn't seem to last longer than a day or two, and it definitely doesn't completely clear my flaking away. I do like having this in my hair routine once a week to get a pampered fresh sort of feeling!

I thought this product was pointless at first, since it is hard to just massage it onto your scalp with long hair (its very sticky and the clumps of it will fall off the top of your head if you're not quick enough to massage it in), and I was still having to use a scalp brush tool since I felt it needed help getting all over my scalp. Well the results speak volumes.Like others say, my hair feels the healthiest it's been in many, many years. It is no longer weighed down. (I dye my hair every 6 weeks.) I have no more scalp flakes.My hair feels a tad bit thicker too. It had thinned after having 3 kids. I assume its because my scalp is much healthier, it allows for better hair growth? All I know is that it seems thicker. I have used it a handful of times so far, and will continue to use.*I generally wash my hair every 6 days or so (yes, it is do-able, and I have oily skin, I must have trained my scalp because it does not get oily quick like my face). Dry shampoo as I get closer to when it needs to be washed. I'll use this product like every other week/wash. I use my regular shampoo and conditioner after.

I ordered this product to see if it was a decent replacement to thr quai. Being that quai is a lot more expensive. I've used it twice now before reviewing. Overall, I'm not satisfied with this product. It does not seem to produce suds on your scalp. Although, it does say to scrub it in until you get suds. I like that quai can be used on my body as well. There isn't much of a smell with this product either, however when on a budget I'd say this may be a decent alternative. I just prefer using the quai. Although, it's much pricier.

I feel like Alexis Rose from Schitt's creek because I cannot stop touching my hair! It feels like silk. I am a product junkie and wondering where this Nexxus Scalp Scrub has been my entire life. I have so many detox, clarifying and chelating hair products...I do Malibu Crystal Gel treatments often, I use the K18 and Olaplex Chelating treatments and the list goes on. But nothing I have ever used compares to this Nexxus Scalp Scrub. It actually removes all the unseen gunk from your hair and turns it back into what feels like the virgin hair of a 4 year old. It is silky, shiny, bouncy....I have not seen my hair look this healthy since I was a child honestly. I am amazed by it.Since this scalp scrub removes all the build up from the hair, I expected dry hair afterwards, but nope. I used it almost a week ago with nothing but a light conditioner after and still a week later my hair comes out like silk after every wash.I have fine, long, bleached hair that gets build-up fairly easily and I have never had such good results from any other product. I will also note that my K18 mask seems to absorb and work so much better after using this Nexxus Scalp Scrub, so there is another win for healthy hair. The K18 detox shampoo has nothing on this stuff!

It has a nice smell and cleansing your scalp/hair, every refreshing of you use a lot of hair products. I use it after shampoo, before conditioner. I’ve tried it with just shampoo and the product but my hair texture felt squeaky? Not sure if anyone else felt this but it’s kind of how it feels for me without conditioner. It’s hard to brush out but either way it restores my hair, brings back the volume and the extra clean feel. I used this once a week to remove hair product build up.Also, tip to applying: hair needs to be thoroughly wet, grab same amounts and massage it all over your scalp with your fingers.

It is a great product for people who have oily hair and scalp. I am a woman of a certain age post menopause and i was looking for something to moisturize my hair. This is not a solution for that issue. My hair feels especially straw-like after use. It does help the painful swelling (blocked pores?) on my scalp. It is definitely a quality product that would’ve worked great when i was younger!

This scrub is fantastic. I have fine, thin, flat hair that gets oily quickly. This scrub not only smells amazing, it's effective. It removes build up, leaves my scalp feeling fresh and clean, and adds volume to my sad hair. It is truly one of my favourite hair products, and I've tried a LOT.Now where the hell is it?!I've purchased this repeatedly and swear by it, and now it's disappeared from online and in-store stock. What is it with Nexxus discontinuing their best products? And if it's not discontinued, why has it been out of stock everywhere for over six months? Please restock this. The ratings are proof that it's in demand.

I've never used scrubs before and wasn't too sure what to expect but after using this my scalp has never felt cleaner, I could feel the difference this made and am thoroughly impressed. The lather is awesome too, I can't say I was expecting that.
